I do believe I spied Bruticus in there and while I'm gonna love playing as Grimlock the transformers geek in me is screaming "Grimlock was built on Earth after the war!"

I just hope it's better than War on Cybertron. That game was so close to being amazing, but the multiplayer was all kinds of messed up.

Didn't play the first, but if this is on PC I plan on playing it.

I still wanna play the original War for Cybertron, I kinda missed out. Trailer looks cool!

They said they wont be doing a PC version of this one. You can get the first game for cheap on PC though and I would recommend it. The game is fantastic.

War for Cyrbertron was alright. Hope this is better.

Dubstep in a Transformers trailer, now the cycle is complete. There is no more dubstep needed.

Whew. Man, thank God they used some dubstep in that trailer. For a second, I almost thought the industry was going to continue using compelling and interesting music choices like Puscifer's "The Humbling River".

Thats a funky remix, and I don't think this is technically dubstep.

Those were some pretty neat cutscenes. Now show me some gameplay that isn't as awful as the last one and I'll give it a try.

Although that part where it looks like you play as the DInobots already has me halfway there.

I'm not sure how I feel about Optimus Prime's redesign, I thought he looked perfect in the original.. but at least it's not the Bayformers.

@jakob187: I loved that trailer as well, but there's something hilariously appropriate using music once described as "Optimus Prime taking a shit" in something Transformers-related. But maybe it's too on-the-nose.

And the PC version was sooooo good once you got a mod that unlocked the FPS. It ran great and looked incredible.

So sad the sequel isn't getting ported :(

I've never been so chuffed for a Transformers game.

why do the graphics in this game look like circa 2006? like uprezzed XBox graphics? love the concept and the story and all that jazz but MAN, that game needs some polish.

Last transformers game from High Moon was pretty good & hoping this one is too as looks interesting from this trailer. Definitely will try it out if it looks like this in the game.

Inception meets Skrillex. I'm alright with that. If only the soundtrack for the whole game would be like that.

I LOVE THIS GAME. High Moon did such a good job with WfC, and this looks like an improvement for sure. Even visually, these locales look more colorful than the one-note settings from the levels in the first game. So much cool destruction too, and the High Moon Transformer designs are still best in the series' history. I LOATHE you Activision, but if I must buy one Activision game a year, it's going to be their Transformers games.

That's like saying why do humans need pants because you watched a video of people sitting around in a giant hot spring. Just because you haven't seen the places that have roads (which their are a lot of on Cybertron) doesn't mean they aren't there. But I'm not going to do the typical fan thing and rage about how non TF fans always ask silly questions, cause then I'd be just another one of those guys.

i think that anything that utilizes laser beams has every right to throw dubstep all over the place if it wants to.

This game is going to be fucking amazing.
