ShootMania Storms Onward

For all the hate that gets directed at Dubstep, I feel like it's pretty reasonable of people to not want to just pass everything electronic off as "shitty dubstep."

In any case, I had no idea what to expect of this game and it looks fucking great. I'm usually not crazy about these kinds of floaty shooters, but this looks like something that could get fucking crazy and I am totally down with that.

Also, fucking great trailer. Holy balls.

A fast paced shooter where everyone has the same gun, amazing graphics, and the ability to create levels, count me in!

I don't get it, how is this different from any other multiplayer shooter?

to me, this looks like a cross of original Unreal Tournament and the Deckers.Die mission from Saints Row The Third.

Pretty stoked about Shootmania now, specially since i assumed it would never be seen or heard from again

It is good to see so few people care about the game and mostly care about splitting musical hairs. We can't call the outcome of if this will sell or if anyone will play it...but we might just figure out the musical cubbyhole it belongs in by 2015.

Laser tag involves shooting dudes at a fast pace in the middle of a rave. Paintball involves sitting in a bush for twenty minutes hoping you see a dude, then at the end getting shot in the knee twice because people still find the meme from Skyrim funny in April. You be the judge.

So this is just Quake on a bigger map with more players?

Shooters have never really been my thing though, so I'm not quite sure what I was expecting, but I'm slightly dissapointed. I have always found shooters like Quake to be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too boring and repetive. It's really one of the things I couldn't care less about to be completely honest.

And before people goes completely retard, this is a forum, meant for expressing your opinion, and I expressed mine.

Still loving Trackmania2 so I'm looking forward to Shootmania. Sadly I don't think it'll really be as accessible since FPS games need good pings and I see this not being popular at all in Australia.

Drum and Bass.

Some of that character animation could use some work... hopefully it's smoothed out upon full release. Other than that, I'm super fucking hyped!

Trackmania's presentation reminded me so much of Quake III-era shooters, and it looks like this definitely brings that to the table.

I hope everything is instagib and hitscan, that would make it all even crazier.
