Seems ok, might pick this up for 3DS if the price is right.

I smell a Breaking Brad perhaps?

It's like Duck Tales and Rogue Legacy had a baby.

And I'm gonna eat that baby!

Looks amazing for any fans of Mega Man.

I'm so happy that games like this are still being made in 2014.

Also, that Yacht Club logo at the end is nice.

Glad it finally has a release date now. Gotta find dat 'Baz!

That comment is getting played out. Do we really need someone to tell us that pixel art is getting old, every time a new indie game is released.

Glad I backed this.

And the award for dumbest developer name goes to...

I'm really happy that someone decided to borrow Duck Tales' pogo mechanic. Jumping around on Scrooge's cane was so much fun. Really charming art style too.

give. it. to. me.

This game looks really, really cool. Odd choice of platforms, though. Although I'm happy WiiU people will have something.

Not that odd, considering WayForward has always been making a lot of their titles with Nintendo platforms in mind. I guess they had already established a relationship with the publisher when they were still part of WayForward. If Shovel Knight ends up being somewhat successful, I would bet a shovel that we'll see a Vita/PS4 port sometime this year.

Agreed, I'm getting tired of seeing all of these 8-bit looking games.

I love the NES-style with slightly more frames of animation, as well as the attention to detail in the color palettes. I hope this controls as well as it looks like it should. Want!

EDIT: Check out the 720p 60fps trailer from the Yacht Club Games website for an even better idea of what this will look like in action!

I see some Mega Man, DuckTales, Castlevania...am I missing anything?

This looks pretty cool.

Definitely keeping an eye out for this when it comes out on PC.

The only Kickstarter I have ever backed!

I hope this game doesn't get buried in march.
