Imagine if they did a Quick Look on a game like this or another sub sim like Dangerous Waters. 
 
It'd be like: 
  
"Conn, sonar, new track bearing 320, assigned Sierra 32." 
  
"Huh?"
 
"Make my depth 800, dive aye." 
  
 "Wait, what?!"     
 
 "Come left to course 015, make turn for 5 knots, manuevering aye, skipper." 
 
"Uh... is that good?" 
 
"Conn, sonar, bearing ambiguity resolved for track Siera 25." 
  
" I don't know what that means!" 
 
It would be like the ArmA II Quick Look all over again :D

The only submarine-game I've played is Silent Service for Amiga. Good game. This trailer reminds me of it.

@HatKing: Probably the closest you may get to that is Cold Fear on the PS2. Took place on a boat primarily and it would rock with the waves throwing your aim off. You had to grab a railing to help steady your aim.

Issue: Submarines are tiny, it would be very hard to put several hours worth of levels in such a small area. But yea, that would be cool.

While I was one of the few who didn't read it as "Silent Hill V," I do think having a horror game on a submarine would be pretty cool.  Similar to a horror game on a space ship, but slightly more real and easier to place yourself in, therefore scarier.

I would LOVE to see some one make a super realistic sim game like this, only set on a star ship like the Enterprise from Star Trek, a Star Destroyer from Star Wars, or even their own setting.

@Johnny5: I'd like some multiplayer coop-focus going on, played SH IV a bit with a few friends and it was a supercool experience sitting in your subs and ambushing convoys.
