That's not creepy at all.

Wait, hold on, it's not the first of April, is it?

Fun

This will end with everyone swearing off Skyrim and people being observed by the police

Posted by Olqavtoras

Seems like a cool little feature, will probably download this.

And I'm Nick Breckon

So, any word on whether this will be another timed exclusive?

Finally The Sims 3 new Skyrim themed DLC everyone has been waiting for!

Posted by drew327

Pretty weird trailer. I probably would have been really into this when the game came out but I don't think I'm going back for this

I'm gonna adopt like 15 of those little brats and sit back and watch the money come in.

Posted by Mijati

I don't... this is fake right? This has to be fake right?

Edited by Xymox

So basically it's an official mod that removes the need for some of the user made mods that do the same thing? I think I'm okay with that, but it might need more features to be interesting (as a purchase it seems a bit on the weak side in its current state) to the PC players. I could see xbox/ps3 users getting into it though.

Most likely your "personal bard" can't be lisette, and you won't be able to adopt the vampire kid. But when those things are fixed thanks to mods, I might grab it.

Posted by 49th

can I make a dungeon and tie people to the wall though?

Posted by BoOzak

As somebody who liked to hoard items and scatter them all over my home in Morrowind this looks surprisingly uninteresting to me. I dont know what it is, seems abit too automated to me, and i'll bet the designing part isnt going to be Sims level of customisation. (not that that's necessary) Plus adopting children? ..Whhhy?

Posted by Death_Burnout

Erm...Deus Mons, sorry. (I wonder who gets that)

It's good for console users I guess. And no this isn't a joke considering there are many mods that do similar things, even build your own house exactly

I'm just worried this counts as the second and final DLC they had planned, surely not.

Fun times.

@Damolition

Coming to Xbox September 1st. Sounds like it.

I hope it isn't 15 though, it doesn't seem compelling enough for that much. It sounds like it may be deep and have a lot of systems, but I don't know if id pay that much.

So instead of being an unstoppable badass who roams the land, exploring crypts for milennia-old treasure and ridding the world of dragons, I can bake bread and make sure skeevers don't eat my garden?

HAHAHAHA no

Posted by crusader8463

Shame about that stupid 360 exclusive DLC bull shit deal. This would have made me fire up Skyrim again and start playing it again. Oh well. Guess these companies hate money.

Posted by SmasheControllers

@Death_Burnout: I think everyone... this is super cool to see Beth taking PC mods and turning them into DLC for the X360 players. Wonder what's next.

Posted by Seraphim84

They played that straight? I figured at the end they'd do something like, "now with that all done, go f&*k up some dragons"

I think he said September 4th, since that is a Tuesday - the usual Mircosoft XBL update day. But yeah, I hope that it isn't too expensive. I could see paying up to $10, not much more than that though. $15 would be pushing it.

Edit: Looks like it is 400MS Points ($5.00) according to the Bethesda Blog.

no they love money that`s why they have exclusive deals....don`t be stupid now.

The trailer felt like a bad joke... and then it turns out it's an actual thing. The truly sad thing though is that I'll probably buy it.

Posted by Y2Ken

The house building mod I saw was quite detailed and worked in a similar fashion to this. Didn't let you adopt kids though.

Posted by Redhorn

Shit, this... this look sweet.

Posted by zolloz89

Can i get dawnguard first goddammit?

Posted by Martdawg

And Skyrim becomes the Sims

Posted by mbr2

Fuck Nick again. Also... Fish Hatchery.

Posted by AlexW00d

I already have a mod that does this. :/

Posted by Dtat

This is just so ridiculous...I'm way into it.

Posted by hollitz

What the dick is this dick?

Seems like it would have been cool if it was included in the original package, but is home ownership really going to bring anyone back to the game? It's like if they had decided to release the villa in Assassin's Creed 2 as dlc.

As someone who really like the roleplaying aspects of Skyrim, I'm all over this. Time for my dragonborn to retire and become the Martha Stewart of Tamriel

Posted by Jumbs

Fuck you microsoft, and your shitty exclusivity deals.

Posted by Veiasma

Just when I thought I was done, they pull me back in...

Posted by Kaigan

I don't have a mod that does this.

However, I could download mods that the do things shown in this trailer.

For free.

Posted by Phoenix87

Pretty damn cool. I definitely pick it up if it ever comes to PS3.

Posted by DjDonFrancisco

Oh god, I want this. More than Dawnguard. I think it's just the inner child in me screaming for another Harvest Moon. :(

Posted by avantegardener

Neato, I like seeing games subverted.

Posted by AndrewB

So I can officially start decrying "Just start making The Elder Scrolls VI!" now?
