I'll be honest. All I want out of this is DMC3.

Does anyone really want DMC2 though? I mean, those Diesel jeans ARE pretty sweet and so was the 50% off coupon that came with the game but the rest was pretty disappointing.

I honestly didn't see anything that would even be half considered HD - the MGS Portable Ops HD remake looked twice as good.

It seems super cheap because they're literally doing no extra work for this and re-releasing it now knowing that people who want to replay those games, but don't want to dust off the PS2 will get it.

I know I'd like a Persona 3 port for the 360.

Eh. DMC2 and DMC3 looked fine to start with. Upscale the games to HD and give them widescreen support, you're set. What people forget though is that DMC1 ALWAYS looked really rough because it was a very early PS2 game and it shows. Super muddy textures, a weird almost vaseline-like haze over the entire screen, the difference between the original and HD re-release of DMC1 is night and day.

Good thing I already own these games and can tolerate slightly worse graphics. These so called HD versions hardly look better and are certainly not worth re-buying. Shame about DMC2 though. That game really is weak.

I would totally play through DMC again. I wish they were touching up the textures a bit, I know the game is quite old now, but it looks really rough.

Huh, I always thought that Capcom's official stance on DMC2 was "there was a second one?" Well, I am more than willing to get trophies for the old DMC games in 720p, as opposed to the 1080p I get when I emulate them on my computer.

I just hope DMC1 gets a level select feature.

I'll buy it because I'm an action junky who needs his fix, but I don't think it looks very good visually.

Just looks cleaned up a bit, nothing special. I will be buying this for sure though. Funny that 1 and 3 are the best games released last gen and now to be this gen also.

DMC1 needs a level select.

I already played these games. I'll just wait for Ninja Theory's game.

As hyperbolic as it may sound DMC 3 is my favorite game of all time. I lost so many months in that game. Can not wait to beat it and top the leader boards in the challenge rooms.

Seems like they did quite a lot of work with it.

I like it when HD re-releases don't seem to look any different until you see a side by side.

To me that means they've done their job right in preserving the feel of the originals.

RE4 and BG&E are perfect in this respect.

Being a man that has played DMC 3 a bunch recently on PC, I can confirm it looks significantly better.

Looks pretty okay. Wouldn't expect anything too fancy from Capcom anyway, so might as well take what I can get.

That trailer was a fucking mess. But whatever. 3 game package, 2 worthwhile ones.

HD=/=high definition textures.

I must be crazy, cause I don't see the "HD" in this.

Including Devil May Cry 1 in this package looking the way it does and with the same awful camera is a huge bummer. I never got through the first game due to having a terrible camera for a quick-moving action game, and standards for cameras in these games have risen remarkably in the past ten years.

When one game in a package such as this is so clearly superior to the other two that most people will only want to play that best game, is there any point of bundling the other two games (with no option to buy ala carte) other than to justify charging a higher price?

Already have this preordered on Amazon =) There is also a box shot on there with a tag saying includes exclusive bonus content but there's not details on what that may be.

Wow... and I thought some dubstep was bad....

I think i'm the only person on the planet who really didn't think DMC was anything special, couldn't stand Dante, and (having loved Enslaved) is actually glad that someone I deem to be competent in the story telling, and character development, department is taking over this series.

So, yeah...on topic, prob wont be picking this up....

What's the next last gen game to get a HD re-release.

i like dmc 2. Just because it wasnt as pure as 1 or 3 doesnt make it a bad game in its own right.
