Huh, neat. Actually never expected this to come to consoles for some reason, and certainly not last gen.

@patrickklepek who own the copyright on Slenderman? Is it some weird creative commons thing? Just wondering who is allowed to make money off it or if it's effectively public domain.

The original concept was to make new myths, new folklore, so it kind of belongs to the internet at this point. For what its worth, the people who fleshed it out the most, the Marble Hornets creators, were involved with The Arrival, as well as the original concept creator from Something Awful. I'd imagine the studio owns the rights to the game, but the creature itself is likely as free-use as Cthulhu is.

@zippedbinders: Actually in an interview with CNN about the attempted homicide over Slenderman, the original creator fro SA has been attempting to enforce his copyright granted by publishing the original idea.

I am curious what they are going to try and sell this for. The game is pretty...bare bones, at best. Even in terms of horror games there really isn't anything there.
