Wow, the most striking thing to me, besides how great that game looks; is the big PS4 logo. Adam Boyes and crew are killing it over there.

My first reaction was 'still no body?'. Super hyped for this game but for such first person centric games they make, I just feel like legs and a sense of body would put a lot more in the atmosphere.

I may play this game after all. Usually monster design is what creeps me out in horror games. The idea of a bunch of killer robuts seems less intimidating.

Really looking forward to this but the 2015 release date is a bit of a bummer.

Tense space horror is just about the best thing there is, so I can't wait to play this. Maybe I'll have to play the first Amnesia finally...been sitting there in my Steam list daring me to start it for almost a year now.

Yep, I still find this way more annoying than scary. I hate playing as a no-hands mouth breather. Wanted to like Amnesia a lot, but for some reason I just found it really boring. I have no idea what people found so terrifying about it. Don't get me wrong, I am glad the game exists as I want more horror games and anything that gets people excited about them is fine by me - I just didn't get it.

Anyway, I hoped this might turn me around on Frictional but it doesn't look like it.

Ah well, looks great. Not sure I like the voice actor there though, at times he seems a bit to...young sounding to me? Should make for some good SwS guest starring Occulus Rift (I hope).

But seriously, sci-fi horror is significantly more interesting than "it's a g-g-g-ghost!" type horror, imo.

This is true. They are all worth playing as well. (keeping in mind that the third Penumbra is more of a unused-puzzles-compilation kinda thing.)

The previous trailers were much more interesting.. this one looks pretty generic. I hope the story is good and the SCP influence isn't gone.

I think what you're wanting is a horror movie instead of a game.

I gotta admit, the fact that you're just a floating camera without a body breaks the illusion for me. It's been that way with games since forever, I know, but it looks weird to still see objects floating as the character "holds" them, considering the rest of the world is so realized.

I have yet to back anything on Kickstarter because I think it's dumb, but if someone made a horror game that was an anthology of a a bunch of Harlan Ellison stories I would drop an embarrassing amount of money on it.

The terrible voice acting ruins it for me. I cringed at every word. Would be a better game with text.

The art style is definitely something that was ripped straight out of H.R. Giger's "Necronomicon". I'm certainly interested in this now. 2015 is going to be a long wait though.

I'm willing to tell you that I'm doing that in order to scam you out of that embarrassing amount of money. Any interest?

Man with both Outlast and Soma coming to PS4, Sony definitely has the advantage when it comes to quality horror games. Another reason I am glad I am a PC gamer + PS4.

I love how all these robot things have HAL-lights. Just the solitary blinking red is such a good, creepy device.
