Can the Sony save hardcore console gaming? I hope the ps4 wins the next generation because if the Xbox wins, I believe it means the end of consoles focusing on actual games instead of extra features that detract from the quality of the console as a gaming machine, i.e., 3 operating systems! That takes the entire "console advantage" away!

I think the sharp edges / vents applied to a first gen slim ps3 would be fantastic. It appears as if they maybe went this route, and for that I would be happy. I didn't care for the FAT ps3's design however, the first ps3 slim design is great. The second, not so much. The ps2 slim was very well designed too.

I swear I saw the lower half of a butt in that video.

It basically has a thousand vents and seems to be stackable. As someone who is still to get a gaming PC, I'm pretty excited to see anything on the next generation consoles. But really, All I want is Team Ico to put something out already!!

It's not just the fact that previous Playstations had been black, it's the simple fact that black is a pretty neutral color in general.

Black/White/Silver are also like the most common colors for home entertainment setups. Maybe it's just me, but i'm not 12 years old anymore. So having a console that's bright yellow/purple/whatever sounds at best appalling to me, at worst it could be a reason not to get a system. I don't want my HiFi rack to look like a rainbow just puked all over it, after i went trough the trouble to make everything match together in a somewhat decent looking way.
