I think it's footage from a sizzle reel that has been edited into several clips.

Its like Wii Sports minus the personality. Half of the reason I like Wii Sports was that I could create a baseball team full of the worlds most evil people. Hitler, Stalin, the Joker, Jesus... just kidding about the Jesus bit. 
 
Consider me uninterested, and I sold my Wii.

It's missing that NIntendo charm. If I were Sony, I'd be pushing the SOCOM 4 motion control stuff and not Wii Sports: PS3 edition.

Between this and Natal, I just gotta say...nobody seems to understand the personality thing of the Wii. I hate the Miis and all, but at least they add flavor to the game. This just looks like bad generic realistic stuff.
 
But hey, maybe it's way fun. All I know is I don't need a ping pong video game. The real thing's always more fun and plenty accessible already.

One look at the visuals of this game is like a pictograph of "missing the point". 
 
"Hardcore" gamers don't want to play ping pong on their PS3, and grandmas don't want to play as busty young women. 
 
And hitpoints in the sword fighting game? 
 
REALLY? 
 
Sony, once again, displays just how little they know about the market they've been in for almost two decades now.

I can't blame Sony for bringing out a sports game at launch for their peripheral (at least not when their launch titles seem to be covering a wide variety of genres) but this doesn't have the charm of Wii Sports. Maybe that's what some people prefer but I feel like there's something missing.

I don't think even fencers would deem it sword fighting. Of course if they wore armor and carried shields it would be a lot more metal.

These all seem like kind of early tech demos, not sure why everyone is hating on them all so intensely. Yes, its like the Wii, just hopefully better. And lets not forget Sony actually knows a thing or two about the internet, so these all have the potential for online multiplayer.

Well many of PS3 owners just have PS3, this will help them convert their girlfriends and Mom's now as well, and they didn't have to buy a Wii which they might not want to buy to do that. 
 
Plus many girls still hate PS3 and Xbox even if they get converted to like the Wii. Both of my best friends own Wii's and PS3s, and their wife/girlfriend will play the Wii when i am over, but if we turn PS3 on they go "oooh, PS3, lets do something else... blaaaah... im a girl.... blaaaah..." My best friends girlfriend loves their Wii and plays Blue Ocean on her own now all the time, but he bought Aquanaut's Holiday for the PS3 (spent a lot for it too on ebay) and she won't even touch it, even though it looks nicer than Blue Ocean, because she is scared of the PS3. PS3 is still more intimidating to casual gamers than Wii because of the way it turns on, and has online, and has a regular controller. Now if he buys the wand, she will accept his PS3!!! AWESOME! And then he really didn't need the Wii which he doesn't play...

This is bothersome, even though the Move is easily the superior tech to the WiiMote they are launching it wiht the same slate of shovelware that plagues the Wii. This is not how you make a case with trying to do something new, this is how you pander to a demographic.

@Mickey: That's my point. It;s NOT for hardcore games. And it's not for casual gamers either. It's Home all over again. 
 
Sony has to take nIntendo's idea... and then Sonify it, which generally means try to make it cool, edgy, gritty, and "hardcore" and then watch it fail.
