Sony continues to throw money away on unapproachable portable systems and now with this absurd commercial that provided no information on anything.  I wonder how much money the marketing bigshots are getting paid to basically just flush money down the toilet with this trash.

fucking hell i hate marketing that serves absolutely no purpose. I spose it had mildly decent music?

Hmmm... This ad is a little bit too obvious and in your face about the hardware. I wish they had been a little more flash and less substance.. 

What annoys me is a bunch of useless time-wasting suits probably got paid out the arse to produce this completely pointless and uninformative load of twat. If anything it puts me off whatever it is they were vaguely trying to convey in the first place.

I'm gonna preorder my 3DS now.

Granted, this isn't an ad. So I can't complain about it too much. Concept videos always range from weird to just plain bad.

I friggin hate these kinds of adverts. Annoy more than excite.

Wow, what an utter pile of crap that advert was.  It showed and told absolutely nothing.  
 
You don't see the device.
You don't see any game footage. 
You don't even see a NAME for the device. 
You don't see any info whatsoever.
 
You could literally use this to promote anything, providing it was either a Sony product or you remove any reference to Sony to promote something else.
 
And the people at the end, gathering in a circle cheering to nothing looked insane - literally.
 
Hmmm, maybe Sony have decided to give up on handheld gaming devices and want you to join their weird cult where you will start seeing weird colours and shapes in the air.  People will stare at your strange behaviour in the streets.  You will be taken away in a straight-jacket and employed as a Marketing Executive.

The power is in your hands... Reminds me of "Now your playing with Power" which reminds me of Nintendo. So Sony's tagline is reminding me of Nintendo. Great job with that one guys.

If this is how they have decided to promote this device under the scrutiny of a worldwide announcement, I don't care what the spec's are, its already a failure (called!). Sony marketing with all this 'inspirational' chaff achieves the exact opposite of what they intend. I am your exact demographic Sony (16-25 owns a PS3, just enough disposable income to afford stupid tech) and all this did was prove to me that you are going to screw this up again.  What matters about a hand held is the content, not all this bloody auxiliary rubbish. God dammit  Sony! Where did it all go wrong?!?
