Sound Shapes Isn't Done With You Yet

The musical platformer is getting some more downloadable content, including a crazy new vehicle.

More Sound Shapes! It seems like this game pretty much disappeared after the initial positive buzz it had!

Bought it first week because of the critical praise for it but it just didn't click with me. I only enjoyed the Sword and Sworcery guys levels.

Woo! I love this game, I was actually just playing the level tools some last week to create some sick beats with my friends. Excited to see more stuff coming!

Agreed. I never saw it as something other than a functional, unremarkable platformer with nice music. The whole "playable album" feature getting thrown around is pretty insane, considering how the music is BARELY integrated into the gameplay.

absolutely, everyone came out of E3 talking like this game is the next lumines, when i thought it was FAR FAR from that.

you exactly state what i thought about the game as well.

Sound Shapes is still the only Vita exclusive game that I am interested in. This video for the DLC just made that more clear.

EDIT: I know that Sound Shapes is on PS3 too, but I have no intention to buy a PS3 so my wording was off. To me it is a Vita exclusive since that's the system I intend to play it on (although I think most if not all Vita games should be playable on PS3).

What? I didn't win any rewards, It got good reviews, but nothing to special. I don't even think it was on any of the boys top ten list, maybe Alex, can't recall. I really liked the game, thought the "'City" level was amazing. But people didn't really talk too much about it after it had lanced.

it was during the e3 podcasts, everyone came out VERY excited for the game

maybe thats on me then for believing in e3 hype

More Sound Shapes! This game is awesome on PS3 and Vita. Inspired me a bit as an app developer as well. Easily earned its spot in my personal Top 8 Games of 2012. More Sound Shapes!

Overrated? Yes. . . but i enjoyed it quite a bit. I will certainly purchase the downloadable content.
