This is, hands down, the best way to announce a game. I hope more games go this route in the future. I played this about an hour after it was announced and completed it in about 1.5 hours. Worth every minute.

How do you get the ghost to appear in the balcony? I've seen pictures online but never saw her.

Honestly, I think by indie dev feel, this is what someone on the dev team wanted Gone Home to turn into. Limited gameplay, but set in a familiar setting so that anything creepy or terrifying stands out that much more.

Glad I wasn't the only one. The baby is straight out of the movie.

After the neighbors called nine-eleven?

Fatal Frame is teen times scarier than any Resident Evil, and just as scary as Silent Hill. I hope Patrick keeps playing FF2 because the Kusabi is the freakiest enemy I've ever seen in a game.

I'm out. After I watched Patrick play, and I said no thanks even to the stream.

I was going to request Siren: Blood Curse at some point, so it was nice to see Patrick mention it at 2:15.

Other than that, Clock Tower 3 is one of the best games of its kind. Curious if it's still scary, or if it's just disturbing because of some of its graphic murder stuff.

I've watched Patrick go through the door like 4 or 5 times now, and this is a flat out fucking NOPE from me. I never want to touch this ever. I really appreciate it for what it's doing and I think it's cool but there's no chance in hell I'll every play it.

@patrickklepek I honestly don't understand the negativity towards tank controls in the RE series. It is just another perspective to wrap your head around... The movement will still be clunky if it had relative perspective controls. RE1 would need a gameplay overhaul for it to flow better or in another way. And honestly, that might take away from the experience? I guess we'll see.

Also, inverted for life! I could not play the remake of Wind Waker since it refused you options to choose inverted or not inverted. If you are forcing people to do one thing they might just do what I did, return the game. It was honestly unplayable.

Think about it, how fun would it be if you were forced to do inverted all the time? It is like writing with your left hand if you are right handed, you will manage, but it will totally suck. I can link you research papers on how that hampers peoples ability to develop properly. So no, it is not a good idea to force people to one thing like that, it is better to have the good perspective of actually making the game pleasant for more people. I hope your negativity wasn't serious. If so, I've lost some bit of respect for your opinion of things.

I played with my fiancee. We screamed so loud at that part that my throat was clear for the rest of the night. ANYONE who thinks he's playing that up "for the camera" is deluding themselves.

Anyone know if the Gamespot stream is available? The links posted go to "Best PC Games" and all I could find was a compilation of the scares which...is fine I guess, what makes this so great and effective (early on) is the tension building atmosphere.

Question if I can't find the full video, did Mary beat the demo as in got to the trailer? Just out of curiosity.
