It's amazing to me that the music actually gets pretty good when it's not constantly looping.

In short: Jason is the worst, printing out GameFAX is kinda terrible but nostalgic, torch reset trick is how you get it done.

Remarkably, this is probably LJN's best game.

All the other ones are total garbage. This one, however, you can actually play. Not that anyone got anywhere with it when it was first released, but eh.

Am I the only one that wasn't confused about moving around the map in this game? The camera is always oriented towards the center unless you're on the lake, so right is counter-clockwise and left is clockwise.

Never bet against Jason when jumping's involved.

I do enjoy the side scrolling sections when Jason throws axes and looks like that masked guy from Kid Chameleon that looks like Jason wearing a hockey mask.
 
Just remember why this game's great, though:  Logic is for pussies.

You're always looking inward as you move around the rings. That's why, at the top of a ring, the directions are reversed. So, yeah, you're totally right.

What? I beat this recently, using a Game Genie. Was still annoying.

i think it's almost better he ended it like this than actually seeing the real ending..

Sad thing is, the very concept of the game actually seems pretty unique. Having a Nemesis like creature running around while you have to beat him to specific targets and keep yourself alive in the process; potentially good idea for an indie game.

this was legitimately tense at points. this game is evil

I love the fact that patrick discovered you can duck in the sidescrolling parts, but never put 2 and 2 together when it came to ducking and throwing rocks so the arc doesn't go over enemies heads.

Fuck this game.

I know, right? Since this game has gotten a cult status in recent years, I've always felt that if it actually PLAYED decently it would be considered a classic.

maybe? the problem is you need the TORCH to light fires. not the lighter, at least im pretty sure..considering the game outright says it.

Hey, we did all this work to get the best item in the game which kills enemies in one hit but instead of using it we're going to try and awkwardly jump over them and then give up when we accidentally pick up a new weapon which we knew would happen if we were jumping.

But hey, it wouldn't be Giant Bomb if we didn't suck horribly at video games and then blame the game when we lose, so whatever.
