You can hotkey bridge officer abilities by dragging them onto the action bar.

We need more of Ryan learning Brad how to play. Ryan made watching Brad play this bearable. But he was wrong about the high yield skill.

This game is so broken.

I kinda wish we were watching Ryan play this game and not Brad haha

I enjoy watching brad play. Atleast this shows us the game, instead of having someone rush tab/killing everything. Before you know it it's over and you'd have no idea what's happening.

High Yield is actually a pretty good ability. Focus all of your phasers on your target until his shields are down, pop High Yield and shoot your torpedoes.

So, I thought I heard that you can customize what your crew actually looks like, like you can with your main dude. Or is that a lie?

Cool I enjoy these because it means I don't even have to play the game! It's 100x more fun just watching GB play it!

I'm not having a lot of fun with this game. I can't believe you can't set your ship to just auto attack with whatever weapon you select. Constantly smashing spacebar while trying to maneuver and do everything else is terrible.

I can live with Brad for the most time but when he is constantly switching between enemies and especially when he is switching to another enemy before his first target is death that just makes me scream.

DUDE, High yield is awesome!  Like instant 3500 damage if their shield is down.  Damn.

So with the exception of the ship combat, this is basically Champions Online with a Star Trek skin?  Yeah, I'm not seeing the appeal here.  In any case, I'm done with MMOs for the moment, too many other awesome games to play.

Great mission today. Ryan really keeps them on task.

If you stand on the chair and use the chair emote you can sit in it.  Yes, there is an "engage" emote.

Dude, high yield is not locking your torpedoes to the 45 second cooldown! It's a great ability to have!
THat's the timer you have left before the skill stops working to the torpedo upon activation!

This is a really excellent episode. Finally there's some tangible progress and new stuff to see - the mission looked quite good as well. Very good to see Ryan actually explaining a lot of essentials that contribute a lot to understanding what's going on!

The gaming skills are definitely shaping up in this one.

A good mix of space and ground combat in this SPtF.
Ryan don't get John Williams killed otherwise we will have to settle for Danny Elfman.

Go into the keybind options and bind "fire all weapons" to the middle mouse button. That way you don't have to take you hand off the mouse or WASD to fire repeatedly and no more double clicking enemies required.

Also to the right of your abilities bar there is an icon that looks like a stack of three playing cards. Click this then click 2 or 3 to expand the abilities shown to up to three rows. To use things on row 2, press ctrl+number. For row three, press alt+number (ie A7 is alt+7). You can assign your Bridge Officer's abilities to the regular bar.

This icon is also near your ship power adjustment meters and that one allows you to view the ship power in bar graph form instead of numbers (2) or allows you to create custom presets (3).

" @MarkWahlberg: You can. There's a Cardassian tailor on the earth spacedock who will allow you to alter the uniform/appearance of yourself and all of your bridge crew.  You can also rename them there.  The first time is free, but after that it costs 300 energy credits. "
