Star Trek Online: Set Phasers to Fun - Part 07

First of all, :( :( two un-smileys for the absence of Dave in the past two videos. Him and Vinny work so well together, and it's hilllarriioouuss. Nothing against Ryan, but him + MMO's is kinda similar to me; try to be as efficient as possible. I'll spend hours researching the class, race or whatever I'm gonna be playing and make sure I'm using the best possible spec. Hey, it's retarded sure, but heck, it's damn effective. All my WoW/Dragon Age characters were fucking awesome. 
 
Also, I thought I'd point out that I, for one, cannot see text in the video. Some things I can make out, but not a lot.

Brad.  GUYS.  DUDES.  For the love of all that is holy, press the scan button (upper right quad above the star fleet symbol)  The new patch made this feature awesome.   I keep yelling at my monitor for you guys to do this!  :)
 
Also, use the group target button in ground combat (upper left grouping of icons,  it looks like a target).  It makes everyone target an enemy and attack him, or if it's a friend, they buff that target.
 
Also!  Go buy or some different officers and get some different skill sets.   Sub some of them in your assignment slots.   Some space combat skills like BRACE FOR IMPACT or BOARDING PARTY are ..dare i say... boss.

Note that items sold through the Replicator are worth less than if you sell them directly to a person on a spacedock.  So if you have something valuable, don't sell it from your ship, because you'll make less money.

When Vinnie says he saw something on TV, we'll all know he's not bullshittin'.  I think he sat out on the latter half cuz of Bradley & Ryan trying to make him look the fool.   Despite the odds, Vinnie won again.

Oh man. When Vinny assumed Sulu knew karate it instantly reminded me of the Star Trek episode in Futurama when Sulu said "What makes you think I know karate? Is it because I'm asian?".
