Not a Star Wars fan but this looks kinda cool!

As excited as I am for this game, I simply cannot condone people calling A New Hope "episode 4."

If this game doesn't include a full on QTE wookie musical I'm gonna be pissed.

I'm not the biggest fan of BioWare, but I hope this game does well for them.

Ryan, was that glitter, sweat, or did Daniel do a spit-take on you?

I like Bioware/Kotor but after seeing the news on i09 about Lucas wanting to effectively do a Star Wars babies show this might be the last Star Wars thing I ever consider looking at, after that sticking with SW games at/before Kotor2 & the original 3 films before the prequel films.

No matter what they do the immersion destruction cloud that hangs over every MMO is going to shit all over whatever they try to do with storytelling.

Nice to see they put in animations for when you swordfight multiple opponents.

I'm sorry, I really love Bioware, I love Star Wars, especially KOTOR, but this makes me just a bit upset, a bit angry.
This cartoony graphics, unnecessarily massively online abomination of a game is NOT KOTOR III, which is what most fans of the originals wanted.
Who wants another MMO? Seriously? I would take a good single player RPG any day of the goddamn week.
Ough, allright, I calmed down.

This looks interesting. I'm not sure I like the art style, but if Bioware remains true to their original promise that this will be a Massively Multiplayer KOTOR, I'll be more than happy. STO vs. SW:TOR.. I'm really excited to see how both games compete with eachother next year.

Can't wait! They need to make the faces of the characters resemble each other less though.

A new hope is also bullshit. 
 
When the movie came out in '77 it was just called "StarWars" not "a new hope".  
So if you want to be correct about it you should understand that "a new hope" is just as shitty as the term "episode 4"

Its done on purpose so it can run on more machines. Mmos are only successful if a relatively large amount of people can play them. Its a big part of why wow did so well. "

If that QTE Wookie musical was real I would be sooooo sold.

I hope they take the time they have before release to get in there and really polish those graphics. A lot of the environments and character models looked pretty basic.

Hopefully you're not in the business of developing an MMO. :p "

This looks like it will be a very fun MMO: One that I actually might consider buying because I am a die-hard Star Wars fan.  I've watched all the movies, played KOTOR1 and 2, and I even played Jedi Academy. 
 
Overall, if the game gets good reviews, I'll consider purchasing it.    

since they don't even need hype for this game they should just spend their marketing budget completely on making another sweet ass cgi trailer like that first one. just watching that was so epic.
 
EDIT: I'm guessing this is going to end up being called a "grown ups" version of wow. Not to say wow is in any way kiddy, but generally i've heard tons of people say that wow's graphics are cartoony, its easy as hell, things like that. The amount of time put into story on this sounds insane, this sounds like a more "hardcore" gamers world of warcraft. So stoked.
