Niiiiiiiiiiiice

Edited by Blair

It's funny how he laughs when Brad explicitly says "6 months", we all know that isn't going to happen.

This lead designer is also way bald.

Woooooohooooo!!!

Posted by Duh_ave

So very excellent.
I've been putting off a massively overdue desktop computer upgrade so I can have everything just right day one.
Now if only they'd tell us when day one was.

One thing I'll say about Brad, he does good interviews.

Posted by Toope

Riiiiight?

Posted by Dovey

and as always with every other blizzard interview it finishes with the statement... "when it is ready."

Posted by DerekDanahy

That post game stats he was talking about sound awesome.

Wait WHAT.

There is no way in hell Blizzard would release Starcraft 2 without lan support, surely?
Posted by Brackynews

Excellent.  But it's Diablo III first for me.

Like that's going to come out anywhere before the end of 2010 lol.

I want Starcraft 2 now :(

The dude scared me when he opened his eyes REALLY wide !

Posted by ahoodedfigure

That stat idea is cool, especially with such a competitive community.

Posted by Dante_the_Jedi

Damn Brad, said he lost the game now we all do :(

But really I can't wait to play SC2, Still think it is dumb that the are making you buy 3 games to get the 3 storys but whatever.

Great interview Brad

Bald/beard combo - nice.

Also I think Brad is my favourite interviewer out of the staff. Just at random I watched his Fable II interview last night and was really impressed.

I just read that somewhere else, too. Even though I am going to play the singleplayer mode only, that seems to be a really bad call.

It says in that article  the choice of excluding a LAN feature "is because of the planned technology to be incorporated into Battle.net,". Maybe Battle.net will have a LAN feature inside it?

So it could just be semantics

I have a hunch that they talk money there, as in "battle.net for 5$ monthly". Hopefully I am wrong.

Brad rules at interviews

Awesome interview Brad, as always. Sounds really good so far, I really love Blizzard and their games so its gonna be awesome to play.

Posted by SidVicious

nice interview

Posted by Teirdome

Really good interview Brad.  I'm beyond excited now.

Posted by BreakfastKing

I just lost the game. Thanks, Brad.

That guy knows what people want

TWEAKING LITTLE NOBS.......HMMMMMMMM

Posted by Wright

brad's reenactment of tweaking little knobs was spot on.

Posted by InsanePotato

I was pleased when he said nothing was brought over from C&C, they really are very different games. Very cool interview Brad.

Just walking around Blizzard must be fairly cool, soo much you Might see. Just wander into each department and when people eventually ask why you're there "Oh sorry, I thought the toilet was this way, my mistake". :P

@atomic_dumpling:

I doubt it.  I'm betting that it's for online activation/authentication checking.

Great interview Brad.

Holy Shit!  It's been almost a dozen years since Starcraft came out!

Posted by Crono

Great interview, a lot of interesting questions and answers being given.  Wish we could have seen footage of Brad losing all his beta matches though XD

K, now get a Diablo 3 interview :P

Naw j/k

Posted by GioVANNI

What's funny is that SC1 still holds up well.

Posted by MeatSim

Needs more Bob Colayco.

Posted by Sabata

That dude uses "right" like a period.

Posted by KinjiroSSD

SC is great and all but I NEED Diablo 3 ASAP

Edited by legendary1
Only thing I don't like is the whole 'we expect you to play single player before you jump online', WHEN THERE IS ONLY A TERRAN CAMPAIGN! Skirmishes against computers have been boring as hell throughout all eternity, so prospective new players of zerg or protoss will either have very little clue how to play or just switch to terran. I'm cool with providing a single campaign myself cause I am interested in the story, but its bad for introducing new players. They would do well to add a small 4 or 5 map mini campaign for the other races like in starcraft.

The original selling point and the reason starcraft became great was the fact that battlenet was a completely free online connectivity service. Back then everyone ELSE was charging you $5 a month to play online and Blizzard didn't.
Posted by FrumpyBiscuts

this could be the most balenced game since Team Fortress 2.

Posted by Rewcastle

right! right?

Posted by bludst0ne

Don't care. Tired of Blizzard's incessant "When it's ready" dictum. It's not as though the game isn't going to be patched in the future.

It's getting annoying, real damned annoying.

Posted by namestolen

I just lost the game

Posted by giyanks22

i cannot WAIT!!!!!

Posted by ErgoProxy77
@bludst0ne:  What do you want Blizzard to do, apologize for  putting care and effort into making their games?
Online
Posted by bludst0ne
@ErgoProxy77: Yes, yes I do. But what I would mostly like is for them to release the damn game already!
