Also I think Brad is my favourite interviewer out of the staff. Just at random I watched his Fable II interview last night and was really impressed.

It says in that article  the choice of excluding a LAN feature "is because of the planned technology to be incorporated into Battle.net,". Maybe Battle.net will have a LAN feature inside it?

So it could just be semantics

I was pleased when he said nothing was brought over from C&C, they really are very different games. Very cool interview Brad. 


Just walking around Blizzard must be fairly cool, soo much you Might see. Just wander into each department and when people eventually ask why you're there "Oh sorry, I thought the toilet was this way, my mistake". :P

Only thing I don't like is the whole 'we expect you to play single player before you jump online', WHEN THERE IS ONLY A TERRAN CAMPAIGN! Skirmishes against computers have been boring as hell throughout all eternity, so prospective new players of zerg or protoss will either have very little clue how to play or just switch to terran. I'm cool with providing a single campaign myself cause I am interested in the story, but its bad for introducing new players. They would do well to add a small 4 or 5 map mini campaign for the other races like in starcraft.

The original selling point and the reason starcraft became great was the fact that battlenet was a completely free online connectivity service. Back then everyone ELSE was charging you $5 a month to play online and Blizzard didn't.

Don't care. Tired of Blizzard's incessant "When it's ready" dictum. It's not as though the game isn't going to be patched in the future.
