Still haven't played these games. Can't wait.

No. Capcom said this was a GameCube exclusive.

EDIT: Those HD versions don't look good at all.

Just yesterday I was thinking about how I have never played a Resident Evil game. Will be picking this up, just for RE4.

Oh look, they're releasing Resident Evil 4 again.

Not worth it for me. If I had never played the game maybe, but I still own it on both the GameCube and the PS2. I'm covered.

Honestly, this looks like crap. 
 
Capcom, you have to at least upscale the textures if you want something to be HD. This is just a port. 
 
I already own RE4 for the PS2 and Wii, I'm not buying it a third time. Besides, the Wii controls were perfect for RE4.

Code Veronica looks no better than it does on my Dreamcast using a VGA box.

already beat RE4 like 10 times not going to pay to do it again.

Doesn't actually look all that ~HD~ to me, but I'll be getting Code Veronica anyway. 
 
I mean, I bought it in Japanese. On the Dreamcast. Which I didn't own at the time.  I kind of have to buy it by default on whatever it comes out on now, right? I signed my own death warrant a long time ago with that one.

Cool. The two best Resident Evil games of last gen. Though I would prefer a re-release of the RE1 remake that was released on the GameCube.

The PC version from about 5 years ago, I guess, was actually an "HD remake" since the bar for calling something an "HD remake" is so laughably low.

I liked RE4 on the Wii...maybe the Move controller will translate well with this HD version.

Pretty cool, but I don't think I could go back to playing Resident Evil 4 without a Wii Remote.

I consider it a healthy blend of survival horror and action.  The controls and game mechanics are all action, but the atmosphere and tone still manage to creep me out even when I'm armed to the teeth like fucking Rambo.    Especially that chainsaw guy on Mercenaries.  I don't care what type of weapons you have, that shit is terrifying.    Notice I'm not mentioning RE5 in this post.  That is intentional.

Well, after beating RE4 over twenty times on the Gamecube, I think I'm ready to go again now that I have this hole sized, heart shaped slot of yearning in my life for anything RE4. Since I can't find my old memory card for my GC, this will do just fine. I NEED MOAR LEON IN MY LIFE GUYS!

RE4 doesn't look that much better than the Wii Edition.
 
But I'm not buying it for graphics, I'm buying it because it's one of the greatest games of all time. I already own it on Wii and Gamecube, but I'll buy it again because it never gets old.

Looks like they have true widescreen and aren't so blurry. Not really much of a difference but I'll play through both for achievements. RE4 is still an amazing game.

"HD Remake" in the Capcom handbook apparently means, "To rip the content from a 5 year old PC version of a game, press new copies of, and then sell for $40."

Seems to be the Golden Age for Capcom, keep recycling the same content over and over, charge $20 less for it than the original game, and hide behind the banner of, "We're taking existing customers who bought the previous version of the game into account".

I guess it's good work if you can get it.

couldn't tell much difference between HD RE4 and regular RE4. 
the wii version of RE4 is still probably the best game I've played on the wii, any word on whether or not this would support move controls? I think that would be the ideal way to play it.

Japan does what they do best and rely on past successes. Though this is a great opportunity for everyone who haven't played it yet.

Capcom has been doing this for over 10 years with the Resident Evil games, they re released 2 and 3 on dreamcast with VGA modes. This is a time honored tradition and I for one am happy to be able to play these awesome games on 360.

I already bought RE4 twice I'm not interested in buying it a third time. Besides, I prefer the improved controls of the Wii version to a high definition version.

As someone who has started RE4 two times and never finished it, I couldn't be more excited. This will be my reason to finally complete the game. I got much further on my second play through, and was enjoying the hell out of it. I thought it was much better than RE5, which is a game that I adore. Color me stoked on this one.

Can't wait. Never got round to playing this before.

This is disappointing. Don't get me wrong: I love me some Resident Evil. But the problem is I'd rather have Capcom putting effort into a new RE instead of cleaning up their past games and shipping them out either digitally or cheaper. It seems to be a disturbing trend nowadays for Japanese developers; I'll hold out until they get me something new to play.

Resident Evil 4 was a pretty cool game as far as I can remember, I have no desire to replay it though.

i've played RE4 too many times for me to go back for another playthrough. Though if the trophies are worth it, I'll reconsider...
