Take on the Shrouded in Rage

Sweet, I'm looking forward to a more story-driven, single player focused Borderlands.

This really looks amazing. Art seems like a mix of borderlands and Fallout, I love it.

I'm nitpicking here, but the graphics have some low ass background textures...Also all the character models look lit different that the world and stand out like looney toons... Still looks great overall tho those outdoor environments are the most impressive

This is the first footage of Rage I've actually seen.

This footage looks much more entertaining than the last video.

Edit: Wow, the animation really is terrific, that part where the enemy kicks away the turret looked great, as did the spider bot jumping on and off those crates.

The amount of detail they have in the enviroments while still maintaning a smooth 60 FPS is daunting.

For some reason, the underground areas remind me of BioShock. Especially the way everything you interact with flashes. But yeha, very reminscient of Borderlands as well.

Getting more and more excited for Rage every day.

If this translates to consoles just as smooth and fluid, this game is a must buy for me.

I still can't believe they're rebooting the Twisted Metal series ... oh ... wait.

Looks kinda like Stalker too.

Just hope the racing / car combat doesn't suck so much it drags the rest of the game down.

It is a great looking game, but the mechanics themselves are just not interesting. The AI is reminding me of Half Life 2 which is 7 years ago.

Definitely looks more exciting than the last gameplay clip I saw. I feel a bit better about the game now.

Ok.  I take my very negative thoughts about this game after the last gameplay back.  That looks pretty fun.

that's PC  right? I somehow suspect the console versions to look less good :D And I don't even have a PC that could run it. Do'h

I have to admit, whilst the game looks amazing, there is nothing there that makes me excited,  like "woah this is next level shit."  The gameplay looks dull, and the driving and shooting stuff, meh.

I don't think Borderlands 2 has anything to worry about. 

Why does the car look so bright in the shadows? Have they literally no lighting effects at all on vehicles?

The more I see, the more I like.  Definitely on the radar.

They sure do have a lot of toy robots.

Looks like the game has some fantastic AI and programming, unsurprisingly due to a certain rocket scientist! I think at the very veryyyy least, this will be a solid game with reviews of 8/10. I'd expect 9's even. Really looking forward to it.
