Aside from the hide mechanic, this looks like garbage. Who wants to play an escort mission for a whole game (excluding ICO, of course). And are people still intrigued by zombies? They must be zombies themselves.

im still up for more zombie games, will never be tired of them, im addicted haha but this honestly looks terrible....

I'm normally put off by this whole thing about zombies, but a game starts to have my beginning respect when I can actually pass myself off as a fellow braineater. For example, this was absolutely the only thing funny in Redneck Zombies, though maybe it came off as too easy a mechanic....

They did it to much better effect in that British zombie/comedy film.

I like the part where they show off the main character's animation being slower than the zombies attack animation so she dies with no hope of ever getting away. That's good game design right there!

Hmm, this doesn't look very good at all. It kinda looks like it was made for the old Xbox, not the 360.

I hope this is really early, some of those animations looked preeeeetty bad.

Woah. I read the game description as "island infested with people" and thought this games was seriously going there.

Then I saw 'infected people' and lost some interest.

I don't know about everyone else, but I always make sure I hide from enemies in practical clothing. Never forget your movement restricting skirt or your set of heels to go with it whenever you need to run away from something.

A few weeks ago, there was a preview on RockPaperShotgun which sounded quite nice and the contamination video was pretty cool, too. But this combat video doesn't do the game any favors so far (also: bad framerate)

My thoughts exactly. The episode (note: episode, not an entire game) where you played as Bella was among the highlights of that game, because you had direct control over her - no mommy escort, no powers (well, other than the sightjack) - just a little girl in an abandoned hospital full of undead japanese bug people.

It's not that I have a fetish for little girls in messed up situations or anything... but man, this reminds me: they should make a new Rule of Rose. Not these guys, obviously, but Atlus or whoever has the IP and the balls to make a worthy successor.

The combat doesnt look very fun at all.

Also, I think I'm tired of zombies.

There are so many things in this video that make me sad.

1. WTF?! is this dead space? Or are we all going to have health monitors on our backs in the future?

2. Really, are they serious? Frame rate issues coupled with stiff animations and low impact combat? Why even show video of that?

3. Okay, so the little girl hasn't been trained to fight, but she has superpowers? Oh, and she wants to hide first, destroy your soul second?!

What I took away from this video is even if women get superpowers they are still scared, weak, little hopeless beings.

A little of Column A, a little of Column B. A good Zombie game may make me enjoy shooting zombies again but for now I'm BLAH on Zombies.

I love the utterly fucking calm, "Looks like I can't use that anymore" when her weapon breaks while fighting for her life against zombies. Nice directing job, VO guy.

No. I am sick of zombie games. I've played a lot of them and I don't really want to keep on shooting more zombies. Or bashing their brains in, in this case. Watching this just gave me weird flashbacks to Deadly Premonition in terms of combat, and that is most certainly not a compliment.

Seriously though. I've played both Left 4 Dead games, both Dead Rising games, Dead Island, Undead Nightmare, a whoooole lot of Resident Evil throughout my life, I've watched plenty of zombie movies. It's not a matter of people telling me I should be sick of them. It's a matter of it being a fairly thoroughly mined topic that developers don't seem to be willing to do much with the material. I hope Amy proves me wrong, but honestly, from what I've seen?

I had such high hopes for this, a survival horror game that's based around some actual survival. But then the zombies and the demon-child and the resulting lols and /sigh

I've never heard of this game until now.
