Wait, so what's Edward's involvement in this? Is he still a part of Team Meat? Because he's currently also working and is close to releasing Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (which looks goddamn amazing if you're a fan of the original).

The title is an anagram of "super meat boy forever" which I assume Edmund and Tommy didn't make by accident! So... is a sequel upon us? I bloody hope so! (though I really want Mew-genics too!!)

If I remember correctly (I follow both of them on Twitter) this was a game jam game that they decided to work on a little more and release it.

I bet they saw No Man Sky and thought they needed to up their procedurally generated feline algorithms.

they put mew genics on hold because it was going to take them longer to finish that than it would for another game they were working on (presumably this). mewgenics will still come out, just not soon.
