Being that the main final boss in both Diablo games were, of course, Diablo himself, I highly doubt Azmonda will be the prime boss of this game (it is called Diablo 3). Just a significant character.

Does this mean that the Civil War in Hell between Azmodan and Belial is over? If King Leoric is back then they're saying that they're not afraid to bring back past characters. I wouldn't be surprised if they brought back: The Archbishop Lazarus, Bartuc The Warlord of Blood, Andariel, Duriel, All three really pissed off Prime Evils, and even Izual. Plus they could introduce Horazon and show a tortured soulform of Maurice.

In diablo 2 the only way to get good items was to farm... if you don't want to pay, then just do what you did before... but now if you farmed items that are great but not useful to you, you can sell them for real OR in game money. Since when is having choice a bad thing? Blizzard should be rewarded for coming with such a great business plan...

In diablo 2 the only way to get good items was to farm... if you don't want to pay, then just do what you did before... but now if you farmed items that are great but not useful to you, you can sell them for real OR in game money. The fact that you can pay for rare items makes them less valuable, the problem is it wrecks their in game economy.

I really doubt it has much of any impact on the items or the in game economy. Its not like this wasnt already going on to begin with. Who the fuck is going to piss away a shit ton on items? Only a small % of the market are going to be willing to pay for anything over the cost of the game. I would bet there are severs to be joined that dont allow for real world money.

Blizzard will tweak the drop rates to determine the value of a item. If its over farmed and flooding the market they will drop the %. Also by your reasoning if the rare items need to be bought for real world cash, their value has gone up for the in game money players making them more valuable.

What he means is that your going to have to click on a lot of enemies.

@Fleppie: you will be able to put your CE key into your account and they will add 4 months of game time so you will still get it free

pro tip: this would have happened even if blizz didn't add the real money AH, they are just making it a lot safer for their players. If you don't want people with items brought with real money you can play hardcore.
