What was Ruth wearing :S

Looks like a Devil May Cry/Bayonneta style game, but without the crazy combos...

Generic, overused, marketing speech does not a good game make.

I really wish they would stop trying to say that the action in this game is somehow true to the books. We all know it isn't, just let it go.

Sick of the generic statements from developers in trailers like these.

And +1 to WTF is Ruth wearing? Never trust a cosplay producer.

@m0nty: I think it's called a sweater. Could just be me, though.

Honestly the slow mostion probably hurt the video more than it helped it. Yeah, the weapons didn't look like they were really hitting, but at full speed, you probably wouldn't be able to notice the difference, especially if this is like CoN with the pulled-back perspective and the speed of combat, moving from one enemy to the next.

This footage isn't nearly enough for me to judge the game on. All we're seeing is dudes getting chopped up, which is great, but it isn't exactly the focal point of my ARPGs. I really liked seeing the knockback roar the dwarf did, though. That's the kind of stuff I'm interested in, alongside weapons and loot and such.

But this is the game Lord of the Rings fans have been waiting for! He said so himself!

Looks decent, but I wouldn't be surprised if its pure shit like every other LOTR game. I'm sure all of this is what Tolkien was looking for out his legacy.
Uh, I've had quite a bit of fun with a few LotR games. I liked the RTS's and two of the action RPG's that had co-op.
