All you people complaining that they're making fun of Anime shut up. Before this they had a TV show that was about space marines in the vein of Warhammer/Halo/Starship Troopers/Gears of War/etc that had tons of homosexual undertones to it. So dont act like they're only making fun of anime.

80% of anime is like that, the other 15% is watchable and the other 5% is pure gold.

This is as much american culture as it is Japanese. Try to find a comic book store that isn't overloaded with manga. Ask your kids what they like to watch, and see how many animes they list. This is the united states of animerica, and it's no wonder that Rockstar devoted an entire trailer to such a small, barely noticeable feature that appears on the TVs no one watches. It's because kids are into this shit.

I actually watched a lot of the TV in GTA IV, it was great, almost makes me want to buy these DLC's to see what they have added.

 You would be wrong, Mr Jerk :).  I only have a mild interest in Anime, I don't watch any current series as a adult in my 30s, the themes simply don't appeal to me. I only watch the odd film on occasion from Hayao Miyazaki's Studio Ghibi, and only because it puts the shit from Disney to shame and it has themes that I do like - nature.

@Linkyshinks: Can you link to the article you're talking about? I don't really see how this in-game show has any bearing on the game itself. In fact, you could dismiss it entirely and still enjoy the game. Granted, I'm one of the few people who'd say Saints Row 2 is a better game than GTA4 in a lot of ways.
