it's coming. people are working out reel-to-reel printing of OLEDs on plastics using inks & dies. Pretty much like newspaper. it'll look kind of crappy but who cares. don't know about the brains and video storage tho.

This just seems like the stuff they throw up on TVs in gamestores. It's 4:3 too, so that makes some sense.

See, if Harmonix was still owned by Viacom they could have totally made animated box art using electronic paper. Now, they have to resort to such gimmicks as making good games and limiting the animated box art to commercials. Who wants that?

Make a dancing game. Make an ad for it with still images.

One day, they'll just beam images onto our eyeglasses. And all boxes will actually do this kinda stuff in real-time. Like those AR games you can play on the 3DS through the cameras? Except instead of needing a smartphone or console, it's just there, on your eyeglasses (or contacts) 24/7. All sorts of stuff that won't actually exist. You'll walk by a McDonalds and see Ronald dancing outside to attract customers, then you'll lift up your glasses and it turns out he's not really there. It's gonna be crazy when everything is doing stuff like this.

Fortunately, when those days come, most of us tech-savvy individuals will have Adblock 2.0 installed to our glasses to block out all that stupid crap and see only the important stuff.

This game is seriously hotness. Such a good track list and the voice controls work well. Having a blast playing it with the wife.
