Why do some Americans continue to say Laura when they hear it being pronounced Lara by people right in front of them? It's not the same name. Then you complain about extra U's in words?? The hypocrisy! I'm looking at you, Ryan Davis.

I guess she's picked up part of the american accent from living in california, if you listen to someone like Gary Whitta he's picked up some of the accent too.

I quite liked that she said "she fights for what she believes in and is courageous and I think those things are sexy" cause it could be said about a guy too (replacing she with he obviously) unlike "you'll want to protect her."...

Argh! How could you pick an actress that has almost lost her British accent to play Lara! She was bad in that William and Kate movie, admittedly pretty awesome (also naked) in Californication, but is such an odd choice for Lara... Her funny intonation definitely comes through in the VO work...when she's not moaning uncontrollably.

At a glance, the suit she's wearing looks like it's crotchless.

I have a tiny glimmer of hope for this game not being awful, they have a fine line to walk and I don't think there will be any way of knowing if they succeed or not until we all play it.

I think this game could be good.

I have a real problem with these types of interviews though, they just feel so unatural. Part of that is the editing I'm sure. It makes me wish someone could just put her on a chill podcast, I'd be interested in hearing about her background and the motion capturing work.

Why does being sexy matter? Nolan North isn't asked, "Man, where's Drake's shirtless scene?" but this poor excuse for an interviewer says he wishes "the shorts" weren't gone? Damn it, Crystal D. You want to make Lara a person? Stop objectifying her and this actress.
