The days when a few minutes of pretty cgi from square enix got me pumped for the actual game are long gone. From what i remember the Invisible War Opening cgi was (at that time) pretty amazing as well, and look how that turned out.

If any one was wondering why there were guys with frilly collars in the beginging of the trailer, it was a reference to this painting. I'm not really sure why the reference was made, but I geuss it's kinda cool.

Yeah, the 2027 made my inner nerd squawk as well.
Maybe there's some kind of explanation in the story why such a technological revolution happens so quickly.
Otherwise...you'd think we would learn from the people that thought there would be flying cars and ray guns in the 1980's, and make the future a little farther into the future, if you know what I mean.

I'm really looking forward to this. This team has nothing to do the the original Deus Ex teams but maybe coming in from a fan perspective is exactly what this series needs. This is a really cool pre-rendered trailer but I am dying to see what this game actually looks like in action. Hopefully we will see that at E3. 
 
I believe there are a number of people from Ubisoft Montreal who founded Eidos Montreal and I would like to think some part of Eidos that was involved with Arkham Asylum has their hands in this. Also would like to see something from Thief IV, but I hear that is a good ways off.

I love how all the console kiddies are getting excited. This game won't even be 1/10th the game that the original Deus Ex was. Why is there recharging health without augs? Why is there going to be a third-person cover system? This is just going to be another corridor shooter.
