A modern day San Andreas, just as I expected. Awesome. I'm pretty freaking thrilled. Now to over-analyze this trailer for the next hour...

What a snorefest, GTA IV first trailer was much better.

Graphics look great. Fewer pedestrians, maybe, which might be because the graphics look so great. Hope the story is less of a bummer than 4.

The trailer is beautiful, and reveals a lot more than I thought it would. GTA trailers normally are high quality, and this is no exception. The wait and anticipation for this game should be fun.

Funny how San Andreas was actually the 5th Game in the Series (1-3, VC, SA - not counting the London Mission Packs since you need GTA1 for that)

And now it's the proper 5 too :)

The game looks gorgeous and the story will be really interesting I am sure... but if there aren't a lot more enticing gameplay mechanics and what not then I doubt I will check it out til its a "Greatest Hit" that I can pick up for 20 or less.

Haha, agreed, minus the part about Red Dead Redemption, mainly because I never played it and don't care to.

The hype for a thousand Call of Duty/Battlefield games is still not nearly as bad or ever quite as disappointing as for one GTA game. It's barely just begun and I already want it to stop and go away.

If this game actually has bicycles (like GTA4 should have), this is day-one for me.

I still get excited about GTA games, I loved IV. Give me immersion any day over shit shooting septic trucks. Not to mention the amazing modding community for GTA games.

I think there's something to be said about how Rockstar can create movie-like, cinematic games without playing like Uncharted or Modern Warfare. This trailer for GTAV has me interested in seeing more.

I'm not thrilled they are going back to San Andreas but you can count on it being AAA quality. I just hope they aren't assholes with the $DLC.

At least the dialogue references all that by the character saying "well, you know how it is."

The amount of GTA hate in these comments is pretty stunning. Seems like just about everybody has passed judgement on this game based on a trailer that didn't even show any gameplay mechanics. What's the deal?

This has to be one of the worst GTA trailers right? Dont realy wanna hate that much but shit.. didnt get my interest up even a bit. and is it just me or does the grafic look worse then the last game? or am i thinking about red dead.

And one of the guys looked like him. Frank West(almost) as a protagonist in a GTA sounds OK to me.

How does the popularity of a few video games you don't like affect you in any way? If something isn't in line with my tastes I simply ignore it. Wild concept I know.

Gone are the days of me being able to get hyped for a new GTA game. That's a sad thing.

GTA trailers always look great, but then I play it, and stop caring 5 hours in. I just hope they fix the shitty driving and shooting mechanics this time.

With those beaches and stuff I thought Vice city for a sec. But I guess they can pull off a vice city vibe into San Andreas no problem. It wasn't the most impressive trailer. But it's a Rockstar game + GTA so count me very interested!

Never again will I buy a bland GTA game.

After Saints Row 2 and the Saints Row 3 trailers, this looks like more of the monotony that is GTA nowadays (or any other countless open world games).

With GTA IV I ended up watching TV and just messing around with the weapons and cars, so I think I'll play Saints Row 3 first until reviews come in for this one.

Is this a joke? Seriously, being able to ride a bicycle in a video game is going to be a determining factor in whether you buy this game on day one or not? I think that is kind of funny.

Hmm. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here. I stated that I find the unreasonable hype around one game series/developer to be unavoidable and disruptive, more so than any other game. Commenting on that fact isn't going to make anything any worse. I wish it was easy to ignore, I really do.

If you want to tackle some real "meh" comment trolling, go into any Modern Warfare video/article on this site and have fun with that.
