I am looking forward to this, if it's got the narrative hooks Bioware is known for I'm all in. And If they regularly update with quality quests, they will have a dedicated subscriber.

so I'm expecting more mature players too in the end. 

Not that interested in MMO's anymore. Take so much time to really keep up with the rest. The smaller grouping is a good thing though.

For all of its faults, Star Wars Galaxies was a way more ambitious game. This game just puts me to sleep whenever I see it.

Exactly.  This is much more story driven so I'm expecting more mature players too in the end. Woe is the day they will ask me to link my ForceScore or Midi Chlorian count to join some raid. "

Can't wait to this, it's a shame to see everyone bashing the MMO genre and the game, I thought the GB community were better than that. 

This trailer looks freaking sweet and now I want to buy KOTOR 1 and 2 for Xbox so I can play through them again. 

If you're not going to have the original voice actor you might as well not include him. Hk-47 this is not.

Wow.  This looks good.  I'm hoping for a lot of strong story elements to keep me driven on quests and such, and that's what this looks like.

This is one MMO ass looking MMO, once I jacked Wow I'm never going back, never...looks good though. Awesome to hear HK-47 after all these years too.

They referred to Revan as "He".  I thought 'ol George stated that Revan was indeed female...or at least, that was canon.  I'm confused.  lol.

So far, I could not be less impressed by this game. The only thing that makes me wonder is that it is from Bioware... and I love Bioware.

Wow the combat looks horrific... not fluid at all.

Too bad animations in this game suck greatly because it's an MMO, also there is no physics and destructability, again because it's an MMO.

Nice story callback. Though there isn't much else to call back to at this point in the timeline.
But yeah, having the KOTOR events now be spoken about as legend is pretty neat.

Yeah, I am officially, officially hyped for this game now.

Meh.  There's nothing less impressive than a lightsaber in an MMO.

Wow...this game looks awesome. It'll be my first MMO...sleep deprivation here I come!!!

The characters look good, but I'm not sure about that combat. I guess lightsabers never look convincing unless they are hitting other sabers or lopping of limbs with every swing.

I've actually played this at Gamecom, i was a bounty hunter and the combat is alot of fun very fast and responsive, as your playing it you do really feel as if your playing a single player game even tho lots of people were running around, this really is KOTOR 3 Tbh and thats not a bad thing.
It was pretty rough tho but even at this early stage it's got alot of promise and they have along time to polish the Eff outta it.

It was cool to include some content about the previous KOTOR and some actual in game graphics, but crap, this is not a very good trailer to show off the game. I almost wish they hadn't released this trailer...

Voice acting is still solid. 

What WAS Revan's final fate? I played KOTOR 1 and 2 but kind of forgot.

I feel at this point, the old republic  is KotOR 3 in spirit. although it is a MMO.  It's got to be something drastically different from the previous two games, because then EA would only tap into the old school RPG market.  That being said,  with Dragon Age out and Dragon Age 2 on the horizon, whose to say KotOR 3 is not in the works.  One can dream right?

Meh, I was pretty excited for this but now I don't really see it doing anything that radically different from any other MMO out there. 
 
I'll wait for Guild Wars 2.

I played it at PAX and...it didn't feel very good.
 
 Always three dialog trees, and they don't really seem to affect anything no matter which one you choose.
 
 World of Starwarscraft is apt in my opinion, but I only saw a small portion of the game.
 
I'll just say that playing it didn't make me want to buy it.

Why does Bioware suck at animation so much?
 Fighting, Lips sync and facial expressions all look baaaad.
yet they get these masters of 3D animation to make them pre-rendered trailers to make the game look stunning.. GET A GRIP Bioware. Hire some talent.
