Catching up and preparing my body!

The Reaper sound design in the demo was absolutely terrifying.

I'm just going to assume the game's gonna combine the best gameplay aspects of the first two into something great. But if the main narrative disappoints as much as 2's did... I will be sad. Despite the cool character development, the story arc just couldn't compete with how amazing the first was.

You know what I'm kinda tired of? This trailer had a teaser of it a week ago, after being teased for the TRAILER which is in effect a tease for the game I see this trailer is pimping it's extended cut. STOP FUCKING TEASING ME SO MUCH I EVENTUALLY JUST STOP CARING RAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Seriously, I loved ME and kinda loved ME2, and was really excited for this after playing Arrival last year, but, I just...don't care. I can't think of any good reason why.

What is up with the children in the game and trailers? It's dumb and out of place in a Mass Effect game.

I hope this game doesn't involve a lot of squad combat in bombed out urban environments on Erf.

I'm not interested in Battlefield 3 no matter what skin textures you throw on it.

Yeah, right down to the splicing of the dropping of the toy ship, with the cut to Sheperd picking it up. Except in the Halo 3 trailer it was Master Chief's helmet.

I'm looking forward to this game. I love Mass Effect. But at the same time, I'm terrified. Ever since Dragon Age 2, Bioware's cloak of invincibility has been punctured for me. And the more I read about all of the peripheral tie-in bullshit for this game, the unnecessary addition of multiplayer, and their comments about how you could get a satisfying story experience from this game without playing the first two, the more worried I get that Bioware is being infected by the bureaucratic considerations that come with being bought up by a massive publisher like EA. And it makes me worry about how this game is going to turn out.

I hope I'm wrong. I'm a huge fan of the Mass Effect universe, and played the first two games multiple times.

@DoctorSage: Seriously. They're trying a bit too hard... I feel like the ME2 ads were more impactful, and given the circumstances of 3 that should not be the case.

I dunno. As much as I try to force myself to love these sequels I am having a real hell of a time guys... Mass Effect 1 is one of my favorite things ever. Movie. Game. Just anything. Mass Effect 2 I tried to enjoy, I didn't give it a fair shake I compared it to the vastly superior Mass Effect 1 and I ended up not enjoying myself. I know I'm partially to blame for that. But I am so damn disappointed they had to go and change the formula so much to appeal to a wider audience.

I'm a little worried that this game will be too human-focused.

Oh! A Mass Effect Trailer! ... Neat, now all of us have some more reason to complain about and hate Bioware! Stupid Bioware ... using kids in trailers! ... there was like 1 kid in the demo already! This game is doomed!
