exactly go watch the 90s Batman cartoons, the old tv show and cartoons, the movies, and the comics multiple villains did the jigsaw thing i.e putting people in life threatening situations in order test batman or screw with the people. Hell every super villain does this in any superhero comic pretty much (how many time has louis lane been in a life threatening situations to mess with superman?

Hell I'll even say god damn Bowser did the jigsaw thing before jigsaw in Super Mario by capturing Princess and having mario run a gauntlet to get to her LOL

True but you have to admit the looks of the traps and the tone of the trailer are very reminiscent of Jigsaw. Especially the part where he looks at multiple grimy, flickering monitors.

As someone who's only seen the movies(90s-present) I cant say I have a great idea of who the Riddler is but he definately wasn't portrayed as being this sadistic in Arkam Asylum. He was just kind of a douche..

@OneManX: I wasn't implying that his motivations weren't legitimate, just pointing out his issue.

Really excited for this, I didn't play the first one until a year after release. Won't make that mistake again.

ha yes this looks great. i hope they design some great moments in this game like they did with the scarecrow in the first.

Looks good, though I much prefer game-play trailers.

This game looks amazing, but i am concern that they may be trying to do too much. I mean, it has Two-Face, Cat Woman, the Joker, Riddler, and Penguin (there are more, but I can't remember who... oh, Zee... that one dude, I forget his name).  Well, hopefully they are able to balance out all the Villains (and Cat-Woman) in the story so it doesn't become a cluster f*&k.

  Did you play the first game? There were tons of people in there, it wasn't just the joker, it's going to be about the same content-wise

Time to go find more Riddler trophies again.

Well, some of them did. If i remember right there was The Joker, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Zaez (whatever his name is), and Killer Croc. Scarecrow was great (really enjoyed his boss fights), Poison Ivy was good, i enjoyed her area of the game, but they were largely forgettable, Zaez was in it for about 10 seconds, and Croc felt generic. While it was fun to go against The Joker as the main villain, it didn't really feel like his personality came through. He could have easily been replace with another guy, and it would have been kind of the same experience. So yeah, I am hoping for more Scarecrow experiences and less Croc

The Joker's personality didn't come though? That game was all Joker! You couldn't have changed the opposing villain at all.
