The Tale of DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue

I forced myself through the first one, because I have an OCD when it comes to completing stuff... This series is really weak though,  some funny dialogues but that's it, the RPG / action elements sucks and I hope he returns to writing point and click (Monkey Island rocks!)

Yeah, this is not a funny trailer and I don't have high hopes for Thongs of Virtue. Also, for anyone who is interested this trailer used the word thong 14 times.

Looks fun! I enjoyed the first one but I didn't expect anything from it.
Best advise to any gamer is to never expect anything good,
that way most games are tolerable... mostly.

This seems like quite the good idea, the turn around rate for pushing out a sequel. I enjoyed the first Deathspank and still need to finish it, but this seems like an even better deal for $15.

After slogging through the tedious first one, and not laughing once, you couldn't pay me $15 to go anywhere near this.

At least the music is undeniably awesome.

Since I haven't bought the first one yet, I need a bundle deal now.

I'm down for some more DeathSpank, but I'll probably wait for it to go on sale this time.

The First Deathspank was OK, good for killing a few hours and getting an S-Rank here. 
 
 I'll admit I do have my problems with it, my only major problem being that almost every mission was a bloody fetch quest. I can only remember a few missions that wern't " Go here, collect this, bring it back to me" and they were all "Go here, kill/destroy this, come back when you're finished".  
 
Thing is in the end its simple, its short and if you don't take it so seriously its enjoyable.

This is absolutely terrible. You know how if you say a word too many times it loses all meaning and doesn't sound like a real word anymore? Yeah.

I baying it. Looks nice plat former and I am already sick of Shank.

It's a real shame that Deathspank wasn't even remotely funny, it had potential. 
I guess I'll stick to Torchlight for my loot-grind Action-RPG gaming.

Ugh, the first game sucked and this one looks like it will follow suit.

Art direction is beautiful, 
Its  a shame the story is rather lackluster  
 
It was like watching a childs cartoon, Perhaps if that is their target audience fair shout but this does nothing for me.

This game tries way too hard. It's just not funny.

Never played the first one, and I was quite interested in it though, but something about the gameplay in this trailer is really off-putting.

Yes I want more, the first one was just barely enough to satisfy my Deathspank needs.

Awesome, i sure hope they expand the coop system a little, tho i suppose if they were going to it would of been highlighted in the trailer. Bummer.

I liked the first one

Anyone have a feeling this is going to go like Penny Arcade Adventures? First one selling a lot then 2nd selling half or 1/4 that of the original <_< ? I might be quick to judge considering Penny Arcade mostly sold less due to the huge gap of time in between episodes.

This is so dumb, why would you waste time making a second one at the same time as the first so you could put it out 3 months later instead of using all that time, energy, and resources to make a better game. It really makes no sense at all.
