Playing as Clementine will be interesting. It will be good to see if they can continue to flesh her out, as they did so well with Lee Everett.

i mean it makes sense cause they never show him actually die but i had no expectations of them bringing back Kenny. bangin that they did tho

I'll only care if they have a save generator or find a way for you to imitate all of the decisions from season one. Because of their shitty engine, when I tried playing the DLC, the game crashed out and all of my saves were wiped. I'm not replaying season one, and I'm not going into season two with a generic save.

Will I just be running away from everything the entire game? Hmm.

I doubt it; unless you drop him in Episode 4 (which most players didn't do), Ben gets shot in the head when he goes out.

But...I don't know man. Walking on thin ice picking back up with the Clementine character. That whole story ended perfectly. If any of this falls flat I'm going to wish that I saved my 25 bucks and didn't experience the second season.

I think casting Clem as the protagonist might be very rough for this game. With Lee you were an adult and able to drive the agenda of your group somewhat, at least you got the impression that you had some manner of control over the situation. Playing as a kid just makes it very possible to feel like you are in the backseat, driving along and not in control of anything but Clem herself. Think it is real hard to write to make a child protagonist believable, but I suppose if anyone is going to be able to pull it off it should be Telltale.

Normally I would agree, but playing all of season one in a few days wrecked me.

@jackg100: I think it remains to be seen whether we control Clem and only Clem during the course of the season. Although it's almost as risky to keep putting her in the forefront and then pull a switcheroo.

I like Clem a lot, but it's hard to imagine a satisfying experience from her perspective without treading into some bizarro Spy Kids territory where no adult is more capable or clever than the tween star.

I'm not sure why people are so excited now that we know Clem is the invulnerable honey pot for Telltale. We've sort of established that she can't die now seeing as how they felt the need to drag her along for a second season, and the over-investment in a single invincible character isn't even remotely appealing to me in this universe.

@sonicboyster: or she could die in the very first episode. there's nothing about her that is invincible. i don't know how you think you know all this.

I have the opposite feeling. I would rather space it out, get that breather in between. I can't stomach five concentrated episodes in one stretch.

I don't know how I feel about Clementine being back in this game. It seems like the first season should have been it's own story and then we get to see new people. I'm also not going to get this when it comes out, there's something off putting about having to wait a few months between every episode.

Around e3 I remember reading about Telltale looking into transferring saves from the PS3 version of Season 1 to PS4 for Season 2? Any update on the possibility of that?

The first walking dead sold what, 8M copies? That pretty much forced their hand on using Clementine again. But I do agree, it's going to be tough to pull off a second act

I dunno man, you could level plot armor criticism to 90% of stories told in any medium. For me it all comes down to the delivery. IMHO I like that there's am anchor that ties things together. The first season ending made it obvious to me that she would return, I just didn't expect her to be the PC. Could prove a nice challenge to Telltale.

No doubts for me. Really looking forward to this one.

@morningstar: I dont think I would want to play them all back to back, they were all very depressing and all that at once is overwhelming.

Is our internet generation that spoiled to where we have to play an episodic game all at once because we can't wait? Jeez.
