and wow never noticed how much better PC version looks than 360/PS3. Gonna buy S1 in Steam sale and play them all there this time.

Is it recommenced to play 400 days before this? I never got around to playing it, but I think I saw somewhere that 400 days choices matter in season 2.

It's probably not vital, but you should play it anyway, it's quite good.

Episode 2 and 3 of Walking Dead season 1 had us waiting a while, too, but overall they're really not that bad.

The only choices I could tell that amounted to ANYTHING what so ever where when you had to chose if someone died or not. You could shit all over who ever you wanted for 5 episodes and in the end it didnt play out any different when the key moments happened.

Yeah, I kinda wish they had finished The Wolf Among Us before starting up the second season of TWD.

That kind of makes me happy and a bit put off. The situation he was in was almost certain death - how in the world did he survive... Though Kenny's my bro, so I guess I can forgive them if they provide a good reason.

So this is last gen huh? Goddamn I wish this had an Xbox One version. I see no reason why I should have to play the framey 360 version when I have a machine that could do it without the frameyness directly above it. PS4 version would also be okay but I don't like the controller as much and I find that PlayStation quick time event prompts confuse me. Their idea of X is not the same as mine.

Yeah, not really sure if I am interested in a Season 2 of Clem's story and I absolutely loved the first season. I might actually wait for reviews, not sure if they can pull this off.

I really enjoyed the first season of The Walking Dead, but knowing that Jake Rodkin and Sean Vanaman left (to form Campo Santo), plus the news of a Game of Thrones AND Borderlands Telltale game for some reason? And talk of more Telltale games coming out in 2014? And what looks like the exact same engine they've been using that's been littered with bugs and problems?

I'm just worried that this won't live up to its full potential. Rightfully so I feel.

I had this from day 1 pre-order on steam. Season 1 was great. I can't wait for this to come!

How great would it be if Clem died at the end of Season 2? I mean I love the character and everything, but it would be awesome reading all the articles and comments about it.

@mb: That's all I could think about watching this trailer, Though even better: she dies in the opening scene of this episode. TWD's universe is so brutal that I always feel its not if the hammer will drop, but when.

I feel that playing as Clementine will be one of slow maturity. We witnessed it from afar with Lee, and now we will see the full transition. I never put too much stock in who I am playing in these games because the overall cast of characters is what matters to me ultimately. I'm more worries that they won't have enough life in them to make me care.

Did it dramatically change the plot? No, because the game isn't some wildly branching Choose Your Own Adventure novel, and would cost much more if they had to make a bunch of different paths.

I was really hoping that they'd dispense with Clem altogether and start afresh with new characters. Lee & Clem's story was just right - I'd rather leave what happened next to my imagination.

Also, for me a big part of season one was the constant nagging doubt as to whether Clem would die because of my choices. It properly stressed me the fuck out through every single episode - making her the protagonist under the player's control is going to eliminate that feeling until the last 5 minutes of the last episode.

Love Lee and Clem and actually sobbed at the ending. Cant wait for more Clementine #ForClementine

I do like The Walking Dead. I enjoyed it. But I played it when episode 5 had just come out and I already read how everyone thought it was the best stuff ever. I liked it, but going in expecting that much, I can't help but think it was severely overrated. That game had so many problems. Whenever a game makes me want to stop playing but I'll pick it up and play it anyway later on the day; that's pretty impressive. But at the same time, making me want to stop playing it in the first place really isn't good.

I have my expectations set accordingly this time though. It will be a very interesting season, and it will offer some crazy choices while it will most likely fail to deliver on the premise in some cases.

Don't believe the hype, just, don't. At this point whenever I see a game fellated this thoroughly by every reviewer and forum poster, I'm already suspicious. The Internet is easily impressed, I accepted that and adjust my expectations accordingly. More genuine surprises and less disappointments this way.

After the insanely overhyped first season DVD menu simulator that was extremely predictable, I've lost all remaining faith in Telltale.

They used to make actual point and click adventures and not just visual novel-tier shit.

I loved the gap between each episode, I'm totally on board with it. Plus remember that The Wolf Among Us will be coming out between each other month. Can't wait. As for visuals, look at The Wolf Among Us for how far Telltale have come with their visuals.
