I'm much more interested and excited for GB's coverage of the Wii U than I am for the Wii U. Next couple months should be a lot of fun on the site.

Ten minutes of video per game in 30 second segments, you say? I say, gents, it's time for a Quick Look mashup. Film them all and cut between them every thirty seconds in a cycle. In one video. Clearly this is the best way to get across the great experience of gaming on the new Nintendo platform!

Anyone else wish Patrick would keep his political snippets out of GB stuff? I understand he is a huge Obama fan, I voted for him also, but I gets kinda annoying when he occasionally slips into politics and (usually) takes a pot shot at Romney. I enjoyed his article on politics in games and there it is acceptable, because you know what you are getting into. But when I just want to watch or listen to something from the site I don't really need politics brought up in the form of bad jokes.

That Wii U is already collecting dust.

Exited for Wii U, even if I'm not getting one since I have no time right now to play. Can't wait for Giant Bomb all day Wii U Quick Look.

@Kbohls: Yeah, I do. All this political stuff has gone on for months, It's over, his guy won, no need to rub it in or be annoying. I stopped following Gary on twitter because it's all he goes on about. Granted thats HIS twitter, he's allowed to talk about that stuff, I didn't make any production about it, but I'm just tired of how crappy and pretentious people get over politics.

Also the jokes are pretty bad, but Patrick's never been too funny either.

Putting a Wii U on your head and then making it all gross is probably the most fun you will ever have with it. Giant Bomb gives you the games coverage that matters.

I totally expected Drew to put it on his head and it would just stay there. Drew is like the Kato of the office.

This video pretty much sums up why GiantBomb is just, well, the most awesome really - compared to how most other sites are covering this thing at least. Looking forward to how the good ole boys investigate this console in the weeks ahead.

Terrible unboxing guys, you were all over the show. Think Ryan's the best host for these sort of things, he was trying to reign it in but the just wasn't happening. A for effort though! lol

It's bigger than I expected, but I still maintain that the Wii U is a ridiculous system which will be Nintendo's downfall.

I saw that this video was up and got really, really excited! I'm not sure why I got so excited about the Wii U...hell, I haven't bought a Nintendo console (besides the DS) since the N64 and I probably won't buy the Wii U either. But, for some reason I'm really excited that the GB crew has it!

Wow - didn't realize it was released so soon. Unlike the Wii, I will not be picking this up on day 1. I have electricity bills to pay. Plus... yeah, no games for it on day one that interest me.

I wish the WiiU all the best. I hope it will become successful and gets a ton of great games. That can only be a good thing. But until I see it get a ton of good games, no sale.

Man, I know it's old news now, but every I Love Mondays or Mailbag or Unboxing In that office makes me miss the old brick walls, Will Smith wandering by and Rorie popping his head up. This office is just too sterile, no character to it. Other than that, it's fine, just miss the old office.
