I'd rather more games to go PC to Console than Console to PC. Less crap PC ports and working from multiple platforms to one has to be simpler.

The only thing is controls, which is why PC gamers hate "consolization". Scope is lost due to the limitation on inputs in certain genres, hence things like RTS blow horribly on consoles.

Then again, I have an HDMI extender, a 50' HDMI cable, Wireless 360 controller + PC Adapter and a big screen TV. I can PC game in the office or the living room. Real 1080p @ 60FPS solid for almost all my games? Game changer! And still couch comfort :)

I agree, but I just want to clarify that I wasn't "talking smack" in my original comment- I was just wondering whether or not there is a market demand for games like The Witcher on Xbox. And judging from the other comments I've read- indeed there is.

I think it has to do with CD Projekt having less experience working with the PS3 hardware. It's been sort of rumored off and on that the game would get a PS3 version but it seems doubtful now.

Seriously, is it just me or does John Mamais look exactly like Roche?

I've been bouncing back and forth from consoles to PC gaming my whole life and the differences are pretty simple. PC games look and control better (when made well) but are a hassle. Console games are easy, pop in and play, but don't have all the bells and whistles.

Honestly I think anyone with a job, partner and kids would be an idiot to waste time on PC gaming nuances, but that's me. Also games today are so designed for consoles the PC versions rarely feel right.

I can't wait for this to come out on 360, don't have a pc to run it. It's a fantastic game and I hope it is successful!

RTS's, Strategy's, Simulators, MMOs, PnC Adventures, 'hardcore' (hate that word, but whatever) RPGs and most indie games. There's also models like F2P that are flourishing on PC (Mechwarrior Online, Hawken, Super Monday Night Combat, Tribes Ascend, Planetside 2, Phantasy Star Online 2, SimCity, World of Tanks etc) but are barely in their infancy on consoles.

RTS's is a safe bet, along with MMORPGs. Steam also helps a lot since it's basically a console on your PC, or so I have to explain it to mom's wanting their kids to have games on their school laptops.

Do interface devices count? My mouse is more expensive than my 360 console.. which is insane when I think about it.

Do you have numbers for Skyrim? I thought the PC version was second best selling version, and since most of those were digital Bethesda gained more profit per copy sold.

Fun fact, Tomasz Baginski (guy talking about the cinematics) was nominated for the Oscar award for his short movie 'The Cathedral'.

Gonna get the PC version as soon as my new PC comes in on Tuesday. I loved the first game, but this machine I have now won't run it.

Glad the pea.. console owners will be able to experience such a wonderful game.

I'm also very much looking forward to this game.  Probably the first fantasy game I've been excited for in over a year.

@penINC: Unless you can point me to digital distribution numbers on the PC, I don't think anyone except Bethesda and EA/Bioware know for a fact that either game sold more on the 360 than the PC.

You're probably right, but I don't think the gap is nearly as wide sales wise as you would like to think.

@VargasPrime: Yes, CDProjektRED has confirmed that all PC players who have bought the game prior the Enhanced Edition will get the updates for free via patch. Also all DLC that PC users had before this release are available on disc and use on the Xbox360.

Yeah, that's what I've been waiting for as well. Keep planning on playing through it again but they keep announcing new improvements before I get started. It's worth playing through at least twice because your choices have a HUGE impact on future events and setting. Me and a friend played through it at the same time and had vastly different experiences.

I hope it does well on consoles, it really deserves to. It's a fantastic game and it's pretty damn rare for a developer to churn out a ton of free stuff like they have.

I still have Roches side to play through, so I'm hoping that its as fun as the other. I decided to wait with a 2nd playthrough because of all the changes, they did all the Dark stuff and such though it seems a bit extreme for me. Then they are doing all of this stuff and some optimizations where made along the way so hopefully after this I'll boot it up and be able to run it on near max with this pc. I thought it was best to wait for a while because although their are two seperate storylines they only start after some basic background stuff that can take quite a while, didn't really want to replay that too quickly and it was a good decision since they decided to add more stuff to that there too.

@LiquidSword: On one hand I think it's silly how many of these dev interviews they've put out. On the other hand they're spaced out just far enough that when I forget about this game another one pops up to remind me "hey this game is coming out in a few weeks!" so thats actually pretty smart.

There has been a ton of them though or so it seems. They seem very proud of their work and for good reason from what I've heard.

I'm really excited for this. I've wanted to play the witcher 2 for so long but my pc isn't good enough. @Nardak: Also I don't think Giant Bomb is dissing the witcher. They are just making fun of the fact that there have been 4 or 5 trailers put out for the game coming to 360.
