EDIT: So, I looked up Copperhead. Apparently he (in the comics)/she (in the game) is basically just Catwoman with Poison Ivy's toxin.

"What did you do to me?" Apparently nothing? I didn't see any blood.

I'm still looking forward to this game eventhough it seems like it will be just more of the same. I like the villains they've showed so far and it could be a interesting take on a younger version of Batman. Hopefully it lives up to the quality AA and AC established.

Next you'll tell me that Cassandra Cain is now Christopher Cain in this game.

As someone who knows only the very basics of the batman universe, most of these villains they are rolling into this game don't mean anything to me. Still will probably play it at some point.

I'm excited for this game and love that they're digging up some fresh faces, but there's nothing interesting about this character. Sure it's a tiny teaser, but the whole point is to grab you and this just seems like more of the same.

I'm used to Copperhead being full-on SNAKE-MAN.

So having it just be Catwoman (complete with unnecessarily-unzipped-shirt) with poison is... disappointing.

I never even knew Copperhead existed.

Don't know about you guys, but I think this looks pretty cool. I like Batman's suit, too. I'll miss Conroy, but i'm fine with the new VA.

This is apparently the new 52 version of copperhead. I don't think she's been in the comics yet though.

Have they even showed game play of this yet?

I don't necessarily have an issue with the change. I know the character only as a laughing stock from the JL cartoons, so I don't have much attachment to him. Besides, the trailer does seem to address the change as well, so its likely to be explained...

Never would have thought they would have used Copperhead, but why the gender change.

hmm, looks like a bigger version of arkham city. But its really hard to get past the fact it's a prequel but he has better gadgets, and the story seems to have absolutely nothing to do with arkham lol.

I think for once in a comic book game, it's best that I've never heard of someone, because it seems I won't be upset by arbitrary character changes. Looks like a cool villain, at least.

@nightfang: I assume it is so that they can have the "slinky, sexy" female character that Catwoman usually takes the role of in the Batman universe. And since Catwoman wouldn't try to kill Batman over a bounty, they just adjusted a low rank villain that no one would really care about changes to.

And look, the super offensive way to handle adding more female characters to your game.

Is it just my imagination or is that opening voice the voice of Cyborg from Teen Titans / TT Go! animated series.

I'd love to see The Shade make any kind of appearance in a game. The comic one, not the crappy animated one whose powers are in his cane.

I watched the trailer yesterday, and I must say this: This woman is definitely going to be a worthy adversary for Batman.

I was skeptical about this game, at first, and that's mainly because I was a huge fan of the first two Arkham games. I was worried that it was just going to be a quick cash-in while Rockstar works on the next game (the gamespot community thinks that, too). But, the game is looking great so far, and I'm loving the choice of villains that Batman is going to be going up against.

What really impresses me is that Troy Baker sounds almost exactly like Mark Hamill.

I like the buffet of villains in this and City but they gotta take it easy on unloading 50 villains into each game. Batman has a massive rogues gallery and the Arkham games have hit a winning formula. Batman has enough great villains to trickle one or two new ones each installment and give each a proper intro. Slow down guys.

I will actually cry.

I've never cared much for the Arkham games, at all, but I'm extremely hype for this. It focuses on my favorite aspects of the Batman series -- gritty, barely meta-human assassins and criminals stalking the streets of Gotham. I'm definitely expecting an appearance by Lady Shiva and maybe some Knightfall-era Bane. Of course, a Cassandra Cain reveal would probably be the "Shut Up and Take My Money" moment.

@anjon: I've got my fingers crossed for Lady Shiva. She could actually be a pretty badass boss fight.

I love these batman games! This holiday is gonna be the best in awhile!

If Rocksteady is not creating this one, then that means there's not much left for Batman to be created in a video game. This clearly is an act of cow-milking.

I'll pick up the next real Arkham-style game, whatever Rocksteady is doing next.

That definitely seems to be the reasoning for changing Copperhead (at least it is the only thing that I can think of) and I doubt many people care enough for that character to actually be upset by it. I just thought that, like Anjon and Mezmero mentioned above, they would just put in Lady Shiva for a female Batman-universe assassin.

@mycroft_ampersand: Yeah, for all we know Lady Shiva is in it, but maybe there really is just no Catwoman or Poison Ivy or Harley at all in this game, and they decided that single token female wasn't quite enough, so they converted Copperhead to a woman because literally no one is going to care that much.

I have to admit, as much as people are kinda down on this game and expecting it to be more of the same, I do appreciate that they're mixing it up a little bit with the premise. Still, we'll have to wait and see if it can be as cohesive as the original Arkham Asylum was.
