What's this? Multiplayer that isn't as directly ripped from CoD as humanly possible? Color me interested until it's overrun by hackers like Crysis 2.

Honestly this reminds me a lot of the Spies vs Mercs MP from Splinter Cell. Which is a very very good thing.

Why do the hunters have the cell logo on their suits if their killing cell troopers?

Someone correct me, as my Crysis 2 lore is not particularly up-to-snuff, but I believe that Cell created the Nanosuits, then went all evil, and the Nanosuit troopers turned on them. At least, I think that's why you were fighting Cell in Crysis 2.

From what I remember Cell did create the Nanosuits, but they only wanted the specific Nanosuit that the protagonist used (I think there is only one Nanosuit in Crysis 2). At the start they wanted to stop it from spreading a virus; later on the CEO of Cell wanted it for himself since it developed a special anti-virus that killed the aliens.

The Crysis story line makes no sense to me. According to the single-player E3 demo you play as Prophet in 3 and I thought he died already.

Yeah, I vaguely remember the bad CEO guy that was dying now.

Again, if I remember, Alcatraz died at some point near the end of the game, but Prophet had already implanted himself in the deep layers of the suit before he died, so his consciousness took over near/at the end of Crysis 2.

I really liked the story of the original Crysis. It was super boilerplate action-movie business, but it was coherent and worked well with the huge scale of the game. The end seemed like it was leading up to an awesome sequel too, but then all of a sudden Nomad and Psycho are gone, and Prophet is off the island and dying. Seriously feels like they made another Crysis game that takes place between 1 and 2, but no one ever played it.

This just looks uninteresting. A bunch of stealth kills from a dude in a high powered suit is over done and not very dramatic. Not really sure what they're going for with this one but I'm thinking it'll land sub-par.
