Gurren Lagann is fun, and Yoko is violently arousing, but my favorite movie of all time is his "Dead Leaves." They have it for free on youtube dubbed, but I'm one of those dorks who really thinks you should see it with its original, ridiculous japanese cast. It's only 45 minutes, but jesus christ is it dense. He's also responsible for Panty and Stocking. Check all of that out!

Meh, the game looks great but this video had me bored at the second angel introduction.

Really didn't like the animation. Passable for a saturday morning cartoon but ehhh.

Main thing I take from this trailer is that we get to fight Imperius as a corrupted angel boss in Diablo 3. Sounds good to me.

This was pretty cheaply made for what was ultimately a Blizzard trailer.

@Mumrik: Lol yeah totally agree, not that I personally mind ha ha reminds me alot of Evangelion. Especially the re release with the new art. Looks exactly the same.

finding some of the comments a little under informed about how animation works as an industry commodity. I thought this was pretty good, and a nice unexpected step for what you might expect from this trailer.

Don't plan on buying D3 because of the real money auction house and DRM, but that video was pretty awesome for not being a shitty motion comic.

This screamed saturday morning cartoon. Which is weird cause if you know what Diablo is you probably stopped watching that nonsense years, possibly decades, ago.

This was a bit... underwhelming in comparison to Blizzard's usual quality. Should've just kept production in house.

True it's just promo stuff, but this art style still feels way off for Diablo.

Huh. Interesting to get this backstory, but not a fan of the artstyle and the production seems a bit... weird.

Then again, I was never a fan of Aeon Flux either. That said, it seems to me like the war between Heaven and Hell is kind of... 30 orc-looking guys versus 15 Tyrael-looking guys? I've always gotten more a feeling of infinite armies eternally deadlocked. Though I guess the war has normally been a lot more subtle than that...?

But yeah, odd match for Diablo 3 either way.

AWESOME! Reminds me of the HBO Spawn animated series which I loved but was pissed that they never finished.

Has a nice "Afro Samurai" look to it.
