This Is a Fan Edit of Early Walking Dead: Survival Instinct Gameplay Footage

If there was no better, GoTY quality Walking Dead game before this, a game like thous would not be as incredibly embarrassing. This looks like baby's first FPS.

I wonder if Activision or someone else is trying to purposely torpedo this project...

Well this looks predictably terrible. Not only were the graphics/animation terrible.... but nothing about it was scary, there were roughly 10 zombies on the screen at any given time. If that's what the apocalypse is then I am not worried at all.

The lack of sound effects for the zombies makes this worse then it actually is. It still looks like dog shit mind you.

Placeholder art, placeholder music, placeholder level and placeholder game play. The only way this trailer makes any sense is if someone at Activision is trying to make a case to kill this game.

Wow, from the trailer it looks as if this Walking Dead game is the same as the Land of the Dead game. The Walking Dead is just an up-res of the Land of the Dead, same music too!

They released this trailer to show off the game. Think about that. What do the crappy parts look like?

It looks like they were developing a random zombie-related Wii game, uprezed the textures a bit, threw in some scenes that kind of look like they could be in the Walking Dead universe, and then put out this trailer claiming it was for current generation platforms.

Let's be honest: how many of you had to look up Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green after seeing it in the description?

Wha... I can't believe this. This looks like some sort of leaked pre-alpha test footage or some shit like that. How can this be a trailer released by Activision? I'm absolutely dumbfounded.

I always feel like Alex is always pushing to hard on his opinions or exaggerates but christ this looks depressing. I get the feeling that they expected walking dead from tell tale to suck hard dicks and they were gonna show up as the " Look, we are the zombie shooter you actually wanted from the walking dead franchise!" but then the walking dead didn't suck hard dicks and this just looks like a sad joke.

Feeling real bad for the creators of this.

You know, bland looking gameplay aside, was that song trying to ape the God Speed You Black Emperor track from 28 Days Later? Failed the whole dramatic crescendo pretty hard.

Omg...that is so scary! No, not the walkers, the screen tearing, lack of animation, neglect to detail, frame rate, and so much more...This is already 2013's potential surprise of the year if this even comes out close to okay...

Lackluster graphics I can overlook. This just looks really boring to play.

Make an ambiguous CG trailer before releasing some 1/8 baked gameplay trailer that is clearly nowhere near what it needs to be in order to be a game that everyone involved can say that they are not embarrassed of it. No sound effects, 2002 animation quality, and 2004 (at best) lighting. The guy in charge of marketing should be fired unless Activision is actively trying to have nobody buy it besides fans of the show/graphic novel that don't know any better.

Woof. This looks like some anxious marketing person felt they needed to capitalize on Tell Tale's publicity by getting a trailer out there now and ended up releasing some in-house only working footage.

i can already see the tense and painfully emotional moments and the difficult choices you need to make i.e. whether or not to disparage a black man while playing as Merle.

How great would it be if this was just the new season of the telltale walking dead. Just ignoring everything about what made the first season good to make this crappy half life 2 fan mod.

As someone who isn't a fan of the Walking Dead series, I think the worst thing about this is how it clearly shows off just how badly they've missed the entire point of The Walking Dead. The Zombie's aren't the main focal point in anyway, they're just a means to an end. 

Everything looks kinda like a plasticy COD mod. Yeesh...

Is this source engine it looks even worse, adn the zombies seems way to easy to dodge. It looks like you can complete the whole level by just running past them.

Is this a Vita game or a cell phone game, cause it sure as shit can't be a console/pc release. Did you see the truck, or the animation on the first Zombie getting stabbed. Why would they show this to anyone.
