Can't fucking wait for my female Uncharted fix. Since Drake is on hiatus for the foreseeable future, I gotta get my set piece action from Lara. Hopefully this is a healthy mix of Uncharted and Lara Croft Legends with no sign of Lara Croft Underworld in there.

Looks pretty cool, hope that the final game turns out well, because I will totally play this.

I really like what they have done with the character design in this game, makes her more believable and not weird/ugly for once. Gameplay wise, the XP system is nice, hopefully it comes out as a solid game.

I'm hoping it will be great, but I feel like the developers are going to try too hard on specific evens/subjects and end up sinking.

Pretty much my slow-burn realization on this one. It looks fine. But there's nothing exciting about it.

I like origin stories. I like survival stories. I like games that let people play female protagonists. This game is for me! Never played a tomb raider

Nothing that has ever come out about this game has told me "this game is super sexist", yet its all anyone can seem to talk about, and I am tired just thinking about the slew of articles and threads that will pop up when the game is near release, devoted to this topic. Makes me fucking sad :(

It sort of looks like a more believable version of Uncharted, where you aren't being constantly forced to face hordes of enemies head on and tactics actually count. Appreciate the tense atmosphere they are trying to maintain through the game.

Like, I'm playing an explorer and shipwreck survivor, not the Master Chief!

I'm scared to compare this to Uncharted because I'm really looking forward to this Tomb Raider release and Uncharted 2 is just the perfect game.. so comparisons can only hurt it. Either way it's pre-ordered on Steam.

I prefer good old crazy Laura myself. That last incarnation was just right. But, noooooo. We have to get realistic now.

There's always room for more adventuring! The Tomb Raider games have never been that kiddy, so let's hope it has a fucked up story in there as well.

It looks really good if I'm being honest. I still don't get what all the hubbub was about with it being "sexist" though. Just more PC retards trying to ruin a good time. If it was sexist then she'd be useless and a big burly man would come in and save the day, you wouldn't play as a famous heroine at the very start and turn her from an innocent 18 year old to an absolutely killing and survival machine. People should just shut the fuck up already.

Really looking forward to this game. Hoping the open world and RPG systems are fleshed out and the story and acting seems pretty good so far.

I don't see whats the problem with this, Drake "moans" all the time in the Uncharted games. Same with Far Cry, Assassins Creed, Gears of War, Call of Duty, Resident Evil, pretty much any game ever that involves someone running or getting hurt.
