I have not been this excited for a game in years. Even the CGI trailers are turning me on.

It was very cheesy sure but that style totally fits with the game.

You can experiment with that silly XCOM FPS all you want 2K, so long as you bring us the real thing. Which, thankfully, this is:)

I wish all companies revived dormant properties as smartly as this. They're totally taking a page from Capcom's Bionic Commando book - do a completely new one if you want, but also do one that's respectful of the old style so you keep everyone happy. It's not hard. And yet you still have people like EA who shit all over their classic properties constantly, like with Syndicate and Ultima and Command & Conquer. *sigh* Some people just will not learn...

To bad Jeff Goldblum really is not around for this.

I can't wait for this, from all that I've read this sounds really promising. I think Firaxis might just be the ones that finally make a worthy follow up to the original Xcom.
