I hope we have gotten DOTA out of our system now.

OH SHIT WHICH ONE DO I WATCH?

Posted by Krystal_Sackful
Posted by GasparNolasco

Well, that was an easy choice.

Posted by RichardNixon

@krystal_sackful: I think you mean the one without Patrick. i.e. not this one

Fake edit: Oh god, the sound from the set bleeds into the other video!

Seriously, Brad better be leaving. This entire tragedy could have been prevented if not for that crafty Carolinian and his Lords Management games.

Is this video trying to summon Satan?

Edited by TheManWithNoPlan

I don't know shit about Dota 2, but It's nice to see Brad getting into it. I'm glad that the crew is slowly diversifying thier interests.

Posted by jackbugs

Holy shit. What do they think I'm like some sort of, like DJ/industrial engineer here, i gotta launch two videos at once and mute one and... fuck! .......

Also, this video is how im going to learn to play Dota. So it's on you.

The mess of computers & cables reminds me of so many LAN parties during college.

What other games can we convince them to play via LAN?

Posted by YoThatLimp

Don't think I will be watching this, this is a little too rough on the production side, glad they are getting ambitious with it though! Look forward to seeing bigger TNTs like this.

Brad Muir is so hype.

So does this video just not show the gameplay screen at all?

There is spectator view after a bit.

I read that, then clicked randomly and landed on 16:27 and burst out laughing imagining an hour and a half of nothing but that.

I'm sure they could of gotten hold of someone that could do a better job of explaining the game. There are a painful amount of silent moments, with Jeff and Patrick sitting there not having a clue. The game could be explained to them in the first 5 minutes, with the rest of the show dedicated to commentating the match or the usual hijinks.

I LUUURVE these 60FPS videos.

Once e-sports gets stale (never) , indi-e-sports will rise.

Edited by Y2Ken

Oh man, double streams? Guess I'll just watch 'em both!

Sounds like the studio was invaded by Protoss around the 6 minute mark.

Posted by ribbs

Video becomes watchable at 17:15.

40 minute matches where teams compete to see who can verify more passports on the border of an eastern european town.

This was overall a bit awkward, as in I've never seen Jeff work so hard to produce content that he (and the rest of the crew) normally fill while just being their usual selves.

First time this has been done, so who knows. Personally not a fan of MOBA gameplay and even less of the coverage they get so I'm obviously biased. The demand for this kind of content is huge, though.

Fans of MOBA will want to watch high profile matches as mostly fullscreen gameplay with rapid insightful commentary and pre/post game commentary with personalities on screen. I don't see the current GB format working well with this unadapted.

Posted by Arrested_Developer

I don't know which one to watch!!!!

Posted by Talis12

Seeing how much the GB crew knows about games from back in the day, im pretty amazed at how little they know about a lot of current day games.

Cross the streams! 2 streams, quadruple the amusement and chaos!

But going to have to do that when I'm home. Sadness.

Posted by biggiedubs

You know, the guy explaining stuff nearly made me want to play the game.

Good job, dude. I guess.

Posted by theedangle

Patrick was pretty smarmy about this....

Edited by marbleCmoney

As someone who doesn't really intend on ever playing Dota 2 I really enjoyed watching this and learning about the game a little more.

Posted by Crembaw

Why is the audio so quiet? It fixed itself back when the stream was live, but here it's just quiet throughout.

Posted by Gutterkisser

I can hear Brad Muir smiling.

Spoke too soon, gets watchable at ~17 minutes. I am kind of interested in Dota 2 now.

The audio echo that happens during some of the early parts of this video is kind of creeping me out.

Yeah that guy was super knowledgeable, I actually really liked his presence on the show and he was actually pretty good at directing the spectator view.

I kind of wish they'd bring in experts with other games they're not familiar with on TNT.

I guess it'd be kind of hard to find experts all the time though.

I'm only gonna watch this video.

Is the video/gameplay 60FPS?! It looks great!

Posted by zenmastah
Posted by VibratingDonkey

60fps game stream with 30fps camera streams around it is messing with my head.

Posted by Sarumarine

Misinformation all the way! As long as it's entertaining.

Posted by sandldan

Was fun to watch, except for your expert. He was a bit on the unenthusiastic side, not explaining what was currently happening and on several occasion answering questions simply with 'yes' or 'no' where there's a lot more interesting stuff to dig into.

I still hope to see some more DotA 2 coverage from you, was definitely worth the watch!
