Maybe they have explained this before, but I don't understand the logic of this system. Why are the archived versions of the TNT members only when you can go to the JTV page and watch them there? Incentivising people to leave your site to view your sites content just seems silly to me, but maybe I'm missing something.

Yeah, best TNT ever.

Maybe because serving 2+ hours of video still costs them money and they want to limit it to people who are helping pay for the bandwidth.

I am not so fond of this TNT as many others are.

Having a good time and party at the office does not translate well on a video stream on the internet, IMHO. Especially towards the second part, when you had several conversations simultaneously and Vinny (I always assume it is Vinny) thought it would be a great idea to mess the video up too.

Dancing Jeff, green screen hopping and making faces kinda get's old after several years - we all are way too old (on and off screen) to really think this is amusing. Having finally Tim Schafer coming over and then doing nothing, just standing around, but keeping him on camera - for what? Was this hipster video game journo irony? A post-modern anti-interview livestream exhibition? Everything was silly and nonsense - which is the point of this site, apparently. So - again - it was perfect for most of you.

Maybe I am just sad finding out that I am too old to 'watch' this at 3.00 AM - I wouldn't mind being there end partying alongside the Double Fine'rs though.

This show made me buy the game. Best marketing I've seen.

Every time you load a page you get ads. Ads pay for the site. So why make money for JTV, and annoy new members who may not know that they can go to JTV to watch them there. A large part of the sites community doesn't live in the US so they can't all watch this stuff live and have to wait for the archive version or they will never get to watch it. So when they go to watch it and see that it's members only I think a lot of people are just going to write off TNT as something they will never get to watch.

Tim Schafer has the look of a kids' movie villain. He always looks like he's about to say "OOOO! Those darned kids! I'll get them for THIS!"

Anybody try downloading this video (HD version) in Chrome? I am having issues.

Best. TNT. Ever.

Although i blew my monthly gaming budget a week ago, this sold me on the game, bought it last night and played with a friend and now i am completely addicted to this.

When i first heard about this game i didn't think much of it because i didn't care for most of the teams work but this game if fucking RAD.

Paper, rock, scissors, but rock and scissors were cut due to time retraints.

That is possibly the best analogy I've ever heard for rushed videogames.

Yeah I'm having the same problem with any of the versions. It seems to stop downloading about half way through.

Wow, that high pitched sound coming whenever people use the mics is just grating.

YES!

I was wondering if it was a pitch that you have to be under a certain age to hear.

I think they're secretly trying to keep young viewers away.

It's been explained before that the archived version of TNT does not get enough views in order to justify the bandwidth costs. Therefore it would be restricted to paying members only with the achieved version being available on JTV for non-pay members.

@dvdhaus: Try it now. I was able to download it in the night because I imagine traffic on the site was down.

The last twenty minutes of this is completely nuts

Best TNT I've seen. Almost as good as some of the best Happy Hours....but not quite. ;)

Edited by effache

that noise is making me pull my hair out

alright I skipped 10 minutes in and it seems like it's gone but yeah that was baad

Posted by RecallBerserk

Did they mention as to why Trenched isn't getting a UK release?

Edited by Dberg

Please stop with "shout out" to stuff. It's some pretentious bullshit.

Trenched looks fun though. Fingers crossed that it comes out on Steam.

Posted by lclay

Did that guy at the beginning say that Europe is a country?

Oh dear.

Posted by Sarumarine

Heh, this TNT is more like a Podcast with Double Fine... and there happens to be a game of Trenched going on in the background.

Wait until you get to the part where everyone is talking at once.

Lol, awesome TNT!

Posted by JacDG

Everybody, please stop talking at once!

Terrific TNT this week. Perfect match-up.

So it just ends up being about paper...

That was amazing. Please give us more developers on TNTs, if at all possible.

Posted by MeatSim

I wanna see them get more people on camera next week on TNT.

No, it was not a good show; it made me appreciate the fact I was not a subscriber, because I'd of been seriously depressed knowing my money went towards that. It started well, but once the rest of the double-fine hipsters (and token female attention seeker) showed up, it degenerated in to a cacophony of noise and people talking over eachother, very little attention was shown towards the game for like 3/4 of the show.  I dunno... Maybe I'm starting to feel the GiantBomb crew are just too "cool" for nerdy ol' me, heh ^^;

I can't seem to watch this one in theater mode. Getting the whiskey popup that there was an error loading the video. The flash player won't load without a lot of buffering on HD or high setting. I'm having no problem right now watching HD youtube videos.

Ugh yeah! I can't handle that high pitched noises. Turned down the treble on my speakers and it's a little better..

Posted by Jormungandr

You guys are crazy, I couldn't hear any high-pitched noise.

Anyway, best TNT ever. Can't wait for Drenched.

Posted by Sanj

That was an amazing TNT.

Is 'The Crack' Tim Schaffer's nickname?

Irish Slang for 'what's going down', apologies for the colloquialism!

Damn it, I was hoping he was Tim 'The Crack' Schaffer to his colleagues.

Best TNT ever. Vinny was killing it in the control room.

Edited by beard_of_zeus

This was a fun (and also super chaotic near the end) TNT!

Posted by Little_Socrates

Hysterical first 25 minutes, will be back for more later.

Posted by Dustpan

What's with the dinging?

Posted by Nentisys

Awesome.

Posted by Vortextk

I wish brad made more games so he could be on giant bomb more often.

@Jormungandr: it's only in the very beginning but it's definitely there
