I've never been a real Assasins Creed fan, other then the concept of it. Shadows of Mordor gave me what I wanted out of an AC game, don't think this is gonna get close to it.

So both Rogue and Unity are coming to PC, good to know!

Likewise. I don't think I'll be bothering with any more AC games that will just bore me of the genre, when I'm sure the next Middle Earth game will be epic. How could they not make a sequel?

why do they insist on using that same voiceover track for the name of the game? it sounds like someone cut together two different names or edited something out of the middle, but very poorly.

"Assassin's CreeROGUE." why? just re-record it. you insist on having 100 trailers and all of them have that crappy cut? sheesh.

The story sounds kind of really dumb, but hey Haytham is back so that's a plus. If I have AC fever I'll get this next year.

So difficult to follow the Assassins Creed storyline and history nowadays. I understand it's cool tying things together but I get the feeling that ubisoft is handcuffed by this even with Desmond no longer in the picture. At some point and time I'm really hoping they will pull a Splinter Cell and just reboot the series.

I really do like the idea of this, but it's getting harder with each year to care about the series. Good luck to them, I'll probably wait until the price drops as all ubisoft games do after awhile.

I didn't know Danny O'Dwyer did the voice of this guy!

Posted by OldManLight

Is that preorder voice guy the same as the "honest trailers" guy? If so, good for him.

Can't wait. Love that Adewale is in this and it ties into AC3/4.

Posted by themangalist

Shay will find out near the end that the Templars manipulated him by making him think the creed ordered the killing of innocents. I guarantee it.

Also, is that the honest trailer guy!?

Posted by I_Stay_Puft

@cairnsythebeard: I'm still holding out hope for an eventual Japanese shogunate era Assassins Creed game or a game that takes place in futuristic Neo-Tokyo setting. A man can dream can't he?

Posted by CairnsyTheBeard

@i_stay_puft: I've been waiting for the Victorian London era Assassin's game that should have happened, oh, about four protagonists ago!

Alex's annotation should've been "uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh"

Posted by Reisz

The triumphant return of Adewale, the secret best character in the AC universe.

This being on PC makes me way more interested in it than Rogue. Not to mention I'm interested in anything Ubi Singapore touches, can't wait.

@i_stay_puft: I've long stopped caring about the story in AC, now I'm only in it for the historical characters/setting. It's the one thing AC does better than the competition, and the only thing that keeps me coming back.

This looks great! Glad they're "finishing out" the Kenway story. Really wish these two didn't come out on the same day...

I always love a good Cain and Abel story, so this might actually be right up my ally, even though I never care too much about the story in AC games. Black Flag actually did manage to pull off some emotional punch at the end when everyone Edward knew were gone, and he just sat there by himself. Anyway, I'll wait till this makes it way over to the PS4. That has to happen right? RIGHT?!

Looks like Assassins Creed 3.5

I guess I'm in the minority when I say I'm still excited for a new Assassin's creed game...

Posted by DanOD

Wait, Isn't that the Honest Trailers guy at the end?

The story for this AC seems so much more interesting than Unity.

Posted by Fredchuckdave

It kind of looks like they made it out of the AC3 multiplayer maps, which is fairly amusing.

It's not that hard to the Hal Douglas voice. I can do it on a good day. Although the one in this video may actually be that guy you're referring to.

Posted by ZeroCrescent

I wonder if that was that old Adewale and young Achilles.

Posted by LunaCantabile

@legion_: I'm right there with you, I don't give a shit about unity and didn't enjoy black flag, but somehow this really has my interest, I've even pre-ordered.

Shadow of Mordor had nothing that makes Assassin's Creed cool. It had some watered down parkour game-play based on Assassin's Creed, but in a much blander environment, and that is about all the similarities they shared. What made Shadow of Mordor interesting was its Nemesis system.

Kinda more excited for this game then Unity. I just want to cruise around in a ship again, getting up to shenanigans.

Playing as a proper Templar is pretty awesome.

Yup. I'll wait on that PC release, now.

Posted by mewarmo990

Ohhhh, a prequel to AC3. Should be interesting.

is it that time of year again for the daily ubisoft trailer?

Ugh that accent just hurts my ears

If they have 100 trailers and of some poorer quality, then maybe they save 1000 USD per trailer. Which means plenty savings :)

I'm a huge sucker for AC games despite their numerous and obvious flaws, finished and enjoyed all of them (even Liberation and that game was barely finished), and I'll play and probably love the two new ones too. It's just that I never really liked the ship combat and unfortunately for me Rogue is going to still have ship combat

Can't wait to get this game.

I had no idea this was even a game. Thought it was dlc.
