Well, at least I'll give the soundtrack a glance.

God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs....Treyarch creates Black Ops.

"And now Trent Reznor is making the music.. for our videogame!" Yeah, ok, I'd be excited if I had Trent Reznor doing music for my game as well, but stop making it sound like he's never done games before. Hell, you guys are using the engine to that game's sequel!

Also, seeing those models, I guess those 60FPS come at a price. Noooot a pretty game.

Have to say it does sound good.

Trent Reznor is one of my favorite people on the planet. So glad he's involved with this project. I'm not the biggest COD fan historically, but the stars seem to be aligning on this one.

Correct, but it also looks a lot better than previous CoD games. Those games have been icky-sticky messes with awful animations, so this one is at least picking up on some of that stuff.

Hearing a man say the words "Nuke-town twenty twenty-five" in that tone of voice made watching a boring PR trailer worth it.

The Social Network has one of my favorite film soundtracks of all time, this news excites me greatly. I just hope the PS3 version isn't weighed down by the same problems the original had.

It's also kind of weird to see T-Rez writing the score for what will likely be another Ooh-rah military bro-fest considering his general anti-war stance.

I mean, at least Quake was about killing greasy Lovecraftian shit, not arab dudes.

I think music plays a huge role in both movies and video games. If the music does not match the mood the game is trying to set, everything is lost.

There is this old story, that I do not know if it is actually true or not, that George Lucas presented A New Hope without any music and almost all the test group hated it. He then added the John Williams' score and played it again (for another group, of course) and they went nuts for it.

A good video game example is the Mass Effect series. I dont think the games would be nearly has immersive if they hadnt nailed the tone with the music.

Reznor and Goyer...are pretty fucking cool, in my book. I mean, shit, good move to at the very least get they're names in the same sentence as COD.

Shit... I was afraid of this. Apparently Treyarch isn't going to fuck up Black Ops 2 formula the way Infinity Ward did with Modern Warfare 2. This game is probably going to seriously interfere with my Halo 4 time. Damn!

Hey I like first person shooters and I like most of Trent Reznors music and I thought the Dark Knight was a pretty good movie so I guess this is a game I should enjoy. I skipped over MW3 but I'll probably get this.

I heard about this when they originally announced it and it is a bummer. I heard Trent Reznor was doing the music and got really excited but I then realized he's ONLY doing the main theme. Excitement lost.

I'll just YouTube the theme when it's released. Sorry Trent!
