Uncharted 3 Isn't Out, But Here's The Launch Trailer Anyway

Ugh, I was sorta wavering on Uncharted 3 and figured I'd wait for a price drop next year...might have to rethink that.

Maybe it's just the scenes chosen for this trailer but Elena's face looks kind of weird when compared to the other games.

Yeah, she looks Asian in the scene in that trailer. But she looked like she always did during that airplane chase demo and every other trailer.

I didn't think it was possible for them to make a game that looked better graphically and more cinematic than Uncharted 2. Looks like I'll be eating my words.

I'm really hoping some sort of buy 2 get 1 free deal comes out come Black Friday. All I want for the rest of the year is Uncharted 3, Skyrim, and possibly NBA 2k12 (not even a huge basketball fan, but all the old classic teams from the 90's is keeping me interested since that's when I last cared about basketball).

Apparently I have decided not to bother renewing my XBL Gold account until after Christmas, and am getting this instead with the money. (At least I've got a grip of 48 hour passes in case I'll need them, but probably not.)

Also I should probably finish Uncharted 2. Damn blue guys. /soracist

Batman then Uncharted then Skyrim (assuming its not a broken mess) is possibly the greatest streak of games in the history of ever :D

Fucking great trailer. Been seeing ads for U3 on TV for the past month here in the UK. So many great looking games out at the same time though (yet no fucking games in the summer).

What do you mean what did they have to sacrifice? I'm sure Naughty Dog takes very good care of their talent, they have some of the best people doing it. They also have a very awesome framework for development from what I've heard. A couple Naughty Dog employees describe it on one of the E3 2011 Bombcast releases.

She does look a little like she aged backwards. Lol. I'm fine with that.

I feel Nathan Drake and Francis Drake is the same person or something to that affect. There were early stories from IGN that Katherine Marlowe might be like 400 years old. Is it possible, some how, Drake is really old cause of the ring or something? I know it sounds crazy but right after the card says "Drake's secret will be revealed"(which happens to be on a ring) Marlowe says "I suspect I know you better than anyone, Mr. Drake" not calling him Nathan, emphasis on the DRAKE part of the name, maybe suggesting she knows his secret. Could he possibly be Francis Drake and not know it? Maybe that could be Drake's "deception"

So where the hell is this supposed to be? You're not exactly narrowing it down by saying "Rub-Al-Khali", Is this Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen? Seriously,the areas look more like north Africa than the Arabian gulf.

I meant in the ritual way, as in sacrifice children to the god of game development. A stupid joke just saying that they are amazing developers!

Good reading between the lines here. With the other supernatural craziness this series has with each third act, it's an easy to imagine conclusion.

This is a really, really bad time to remember that I don't own a PS3.

Damn, those are some nice animations. Makes for a good cinematic trailer. Too bad I find the games themselves fairly dull. All the production value makes me want to like them more, but I just don't.

I feel like this years game of the year discussion is gonna be an unplanned 24 hour podcast.

Wow. That looked great. I'll have a great weekend playing this game.

Just played the demo at the EB Games Expo, was fantastic. They had multiple sections going, but I opted to try the airfield and plane sequence. Feels like the have nailed the massive mind blowing set pieces like in the second game. Shooting felt even more solid, and the AI felt challenging - at least for me. The animations in this series still make my jaw drop. Can't wait for some more God Damn Drake!

If it isn't broke why fix? Loads of games never change their core gameplay formula with each sequel yet are still adored and very well recieved. Loads of sports titles, Call of Duties, Gears, Forza etc etc

weird release date for this in between Battlefield and MW3. Uncharted sells well, for a PS3 game, but i can see it not doing as well as 2 because of crazy release season.

They make Sullivan skinnier every year.
