Seeing that Dead Island ad before this just reminded me how shitty almost all other games seem compared to Uncharted.

This is a must-buy. It's weird how all the GOTYs are coming out in October and November this year. And, once again, Batman and Nathan Drake are going to be fighting for GOTY:)

Pure awesomeness. Day One purchase for sure. Also, I love how game trailers are starting more and more to be presented like actual movies and not "games."

@hawkinson76: same position as you. I don't really like the idea of owning all 3 current generation consoles. When my bluray player broke, I almost went for it, but the fact that the ps3 is couple of years old and next gen consoles are closer than that, I'll wait to play all the uncharted games and other good ps3 games.

I wish I had a PS3 just for these games.

That was an awesome trailer. Gave me chills.

So sad that I can't play any of these games without a PS3. I just can't justify the cost of a second game system (especially since I souped up my PC) for a couple of Sony exclusives (it would get zero use as a media center). As a result, I never watch these trailers. Isn't that weird? As if the whole franchise doesn't exist.

I will probably enjoy this story mode more than Uncharted 2's.

I didn't play the first one so the twist at the end really threw me off. Didn't expect that game would go in such a weird route.

So the Marlowe woman is his aunt or someone who knew his father and that's the big second or third act reveal where we also learn that Sully has been hiding information from Drake. She is obviously a relation of him. Just a stab in the dark but that looks like its the way its going. I kinda wish they would give Drake some background like why he is able to go on adventures? Why he goes treasure hunting? What does he do with the treasure? He obviously doesn't put it in museums and if he had a trust fund in Uncharted 2 then why go treasure hunting for money?

Still this looks really nice so it might be the only other game I get along with Skyrim.

I lived in a house that an assistant of Sir Francis Drake used to live in, there is even a letter addressed to him that comes along with the deeds and the road is named after Drake as well.

weird release date for this in between Battlefield and MW3. Uncharted sells well, for a PS3 game, but i can see it not doing as well as 2 because of crazy release season.

If it isn't broke why fix? Loads of games never change their core gameplay formula with each sequel yet are still adored and very well recieved. Loads of sports titles, Call of Duties, Gears, Forza etc etc

Elvish-looking Elena skin confirmed for exclusive DLC... via Subway.

Just played the demo at the EB Games Expo, was fantastic. They had multiple sections going, but I opted to try the airfield and plane sequence. Feels like the have nailed the massive mind blowing set pieces like in the second game. Shooting felt even more solid, and the AI felt challenging - at least for me. The animations in this series still make my jaw drop. Can't wait for some more God Damn Drake!

Damn, those are some nice animations. Makes for a good cinematic trailer. Too bad I find the games themselves fairly dull. All the production value makes me want to like them more, but I just don't.

This is a really, really bad time to remember that I don't own a PS3.

Good reading between the lines here. With the other supernatural craziness this series has with each third act, it's an easy to imagine conclusion.
